First time at the new location, to say that Athens restaurant moved is an understatement, the food and service is not close to... what it was, I had the Gyro platter and the meat was dry, the Greek sauce look like watered down mayonnaise, and the pita breadwas so hard it felt like it was a week old, I wish you all nothing but the best of luck but you have a lot of work to do beforesome of us return Read more
Rip off! 3 small pieces of chicken (those were the only 3) for $16 (photos taken before we ate sorry I sux at taking good... photos) the Greek lemon soup was this white watery nightmare with just overcooked rice no chicken and in small containers barelyfull. ($6 each) yes I know the cost of food is rising but this is a major rip off. The food was bland too. The French friesweren't even Greek style it sits in a liquid goo. Read more
Greek salad consisted of partially wilted lettuce, 3olives, 4 slices of 3-4 day old tomato’s and feta $9.50 Hummus tasteless... $8.50 Gyro platter and chicken dinner so,so. Skimpy presentation for prices too. $14.50 each Not the same as the Athens of the1980s. Read more
I loved Athens when they were at their old spot. We decided to try the new location and was very disappointed. It's nothing like... it used to be. I ordered the Greek lemon chicken and was so excited to get the Greek potatoes that come with it because theywere my favorite at the old location. I was highly disappointed when steak fries were the new Greek potatoes. Also, the breadand salad cost extra now. Sadly, we will not be returning. Read more
The downsizing changed the menu/service and not for the better. The Greek potatoes are not available, the salad changed to $9... and the salad dressing was very watery and not same quality, the bread did not come with oil but more of a broth for dipping andwe asked for oil and got it but without the extra seasonings.
