Spent about 3 weeks in Charleston on 2 trips in 2021. Hunted this place down on the first visit in May and could not wait to... hang there again when I returned in October. It can get really crowded and really loud, but hey... 5 bux for a PBR tall boyplus well shot?? Live music too! Read more

Y?all. If you are looking for a local spot in Charelston with amazing hospitality, good drinks, and friendly locals, this is... your place! Brandi the bartender and manager is nothing short of a JEM of a human and made my fiancé and I feel like familyinstantly. Take it from a tourist?.it?s not a visit here without visiting Burns. ???????? Read more

Great spot: decent drinks for the right price, friendly and sociable staff. Owner is apparently a Chicago native. They?re not... fans of the right baseball team, but we let it slide and had a blast. Definitely our cup of tea. Go back to your fight for oldstyle! Read more

This place was the highlight of my trip to Charleston! It has a dive bar feel, with combination of great drinks, adequate... seating, and a great staff. We went on a Thursday for karaoke night. Though the DJ was a little harsh around the edges (he wasupset because people kept coming up on stage without him calling them up), it was one of the best nights I had in the city!Definitely check this place out! Hate to rate this place so low , cause it does seem like it has great potential. But guys, it's like a frat party in there on... the weekends. Cover charge , which I get. But we walked out almost immediately. It was packed (understandable on a weekend)bartenders we're super cool and efficient. BUT upon walking in, we hear some white guy screaming the N word along to a song. Notmy kind of crowd. Read more

Great dive bar in Charleston. Live music, excellent band. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Cheap beer prices as well. If... downstairs is too busy, make your way up the stairs and enjoy! Would come back again. Read more
