Great views of marina, food tasted great as well. I was a little off put that I couldn't swap my salad for another side,... spending $22+ on a steak and I can't choose 2 sides? Steak was also slightly overdone(I asked for Med. Rare), it still had goodflavor so I didn't complain. Overall taste was great, I do recommend -just wish substitutions were allowed considering theprice. Read more

This restaurant has a great name “California Dreaming” and people come from far and wide to eat here but the food is just O.... K. MY taste buds were waiting for the flavor to kick in and it never did. They need to revamp the restaurant’s menu and theirprofits will double because the scenic view while you are eating is phenomenal! *I had to be honest.* Read more

Excellent location. The views are everything. Drinks on the patio were nice. The fried crab claws were pretty good, expected a... little more meat. Wasn't too excited about the Salmon Cesar salad, very limp lettuce over saturated with dressing and a drypiece of fish. The croissants were great though. After having visited a few other seafood restaurants during our stay inCharleston, less than impressed with the over-rated over-priced seafood platter. Service started out great, but as the dinnercrowd came rolling in, it became clear more than 1 server was needed to properly handle the volume outside. No refills and hadto go hunt down our check after sitting with empty dishes for 20min. California music playing would be a more fitting selectionrather than country tunes, but overall, not too bad a way to say farewell to Summer. Read more

Incredible atmosphere inside and out of this restaurant. The croissant rolls melt in your mouth. We ordered them for the... appetizer and I wasn't disappointed to see another come with my salad. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered and my ribeyecould have been cut with my fork. The flavor of the steaks was great. The mashed potatoes had a great flavor and were so hot wecouldn't eat them for a couple of minutes. Read more

First make sure you have reservations. We got seated very quickly when we came through the door. You can also make... recommendations when you reserve too like ask for a window seat. Secondly, the menu is very short. There used to be a bigselection, not anymore. Service was okay, could be a lot better. Prices have gone up, $37.00 filet steak, side, and salad. Thecroissants have changed. So much better. However, you don't get side butter anymore. House salad, ???? needs more toppings. Youbarely get tomatoes. The famous chicken tenders, the first batch was okay. The second batch, tasted like seafood and was overcooked. Will I come back again. Absolutely not. Over-priced meals, the bathroom was disgusting. Feet sticking to the floor asyou walk through. Very disappointed, not the place I remember. Read more

We visited on a Monday night and after making a reservation, only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. It was pretty busy, but the... wait staff was incredibly friendly and treated us very well during the hour we spent at this restaurant. We started off with thecroissants which were incredibly fluffy and I highly recommend everyone try these delicious pillow-y appetizer! The chickensandwich was amazing and the honey mustard on it made it 100x better! My boyfriend and I found ourselves asking for some extrahoney mustard to dip our fries into! The ribs were decent but not anything too special! Furthermore, the views from our tablewere incredible and well worth the small wait we endured while waiting for our food to arrive. My family and I would definitelycome again and recommend that others visiting the area stop in too! Read more

I visited this restaurant with a colleague and 3 business guests. It is located on the water front in a corner with beautiful... views all around. This is a very busy place, and thankfully, we had reservations and were seated immediately. The food ispretty good, but the service was a little slow and not efficient. We had to ask for most things multiple times. Read more

The location appears to be on a piece of land on a peninsula, and with the all around glass windows, looking out on the water... makes for a great atmosphere. As for the food, the bread was light, honeyed, and amazing. The chutney and pimento cheeseappetizer was a blend of flavors your taste buds didn't know you'd missed. And the blackened chicken pasta was tasty andfilling. Our server was extremely polite and funny too! Read more
