We arrived on a Sunday in October around noon. It was pretty busy but there were tables available. We opted to sit at the bar.... The three people that were working the room were doing some serious multi-tasking – and doing it quite well. We enjoyed adraft IPA and a pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza. Pretty tasty but could have used a little more toppings and cheese. Thepepperoni slices were thin and huge so it’s not Hormel! The pizza was just the right size for two of us. Parking can be anissue as there are several restaurants in the area. Read more

A small and quaint neighborhood establishment with good food and wood fired pizza. Crowd was mostly 20 somethings ( I'm 60... something). We had the 3 meat pie and in my opinion it needed more sauce and cheese. Caesar salad was good. The downside whichno fault of ownership is parking is scarce and wait for seating is long. The host said 30 minutes that turned out to be a littleover an hour and had to sit at a community table. Give it a try if you've got the time....and patience... Read more

One to two times a year we have to travel to Charleston from Charlotte for a specialty medical visit. And every time we go,... there are two must do's. Going to the beach, and getting gluten free pizzas at Crust! Wonderful fresh ingredients that I canmodify for every weird allergy we have, and no cheap chewy gluten free pizza dough. Adding that wonderful scorching from woodstoves and you have one of the best little restaurants in Charleston in my opinion. That's affordable for all of us too! Myfavorite is the beef brisket with balsamic drizzle, and the butternut squash goat cheese pizza. My daughter is allergic totomatoes so we can get a white sauce oh, and I can't have pork so there are delicious alternatives like goat cheese, brisket andfresh chicken. Something for everyone. Put your order in early for pickup or make a reservation because these guys are popularand it's tough to sit outside smelling all that delicious pizza while you wait for a table for 45 minutes. And yes, the wait isalways worth it. Maybe add some wings to that order too k? Read more

Recommendation from the Charleston Distilling Company and it was indeed great. They have customization ability for any pizza so... get it your way. The crust was nicely blistered and held up great. The wine and local beer were all priced outstanding. Irecommend the cantina zaccagnini or the il bastardo for red wine. They will complement the red sauce perfectly. Read more

Great, casual place for Italian food. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. We had the Antipasto and Korean BBQ wings.... The wings were sooo good. Then we all had wood fired pizzas and we all liked our pizza except for one who said his was bland.Otherwise, great food. The restaurant itself is pretty small and parking can be an issue. There is a gravel parking on the sideof the complex so save yourself some time circling the parking lot and head there 1st. Read more
