We’ve been coming to Charleston for years - it’s our happy place - and this time Fleet Landing knocked it out of the park!... We ate there three out of our four nights in town because the shrimp and grits, salmon, she-crab soup, and mahi were***AMAZING***!! 10 stars out of 5! This is officially “our place” now. The service was great - David was the best!!Beautiful views. Can’t WAIT to come back! Pro tip: this time of the year if you eat outside for dinner, ask for the side patiowith heat! It can be windy! ?? Read more

Fleet landing. Sunday afternoon late lunch. We arrived and were greeted with smiles and complete professionalism. We were... told 45 minutes and got a text right around 30 minutes. It's always good to get in earlier. :) There is seating inside along awall with a nice sized fan to keep you cool while you wait. Or you have the option to sit outside. They have several tablesyou can stand outside as under umbrellas to keep you in the shade. We chose to walk down the street to the pineapple waterfountain and the pier. We had plenty of time to walk out of the pier take a few pictures, enjoy the breeze onto the water andtake a few pictures in front of the pineapple and walk back. We were not rushed at all. We chose outside seating. Our tablewas on the side of the restaurant which was absolutely perfect. Sarah was our server and she did not hesitate to bring uswaters immediately after being seated. She told us about the specials and we asked her for recommendations. We could not haveasked for a better server. She was so attentive to not only us but also her other tables. Very good server. My husband and Iboth had the fried founder platters. Both platters came with two sides plus hushpuppies. My Hubby had the cucumber and tomatosalad which he said was absolutely delicious and the red rice with sausage. The rice is tomato based and my husband was veryhappy with his two choices for sides. I tried the rice and it was a little bland for me but was moist and fluffy intexture. My two sides were fries and green beans. The green beans were delicious. Perfectly cooked. The fried were fries -good but they are fries - can't go too wrong with those. I wish I would have done double green beans. The portion sizes of fishwas plentiful and when it was served it was lightly breaded and was cooked perfect with a crisp around the edges. If I wascoming back to Charleston or I was giving out a recommendation...this is the first place I would eat because your go Read more

Before I begin, and most importantly, DO NOT BELIEVE OPEN TABLE if it says there are no reservations available. The site told... us there were no tables available for a three hour window around our desired time. We went anyway and were seated within 15minutes. Food was good. Pick and eat shrimp appetizer we're large and flavorful. Shrimp and grits were yummy. Crab cakes weregood, not exceptional but good. The pecan pie was fantastic. Overall a positive experience. Recommended. Read more

Water front Location, Excellent food and friendly staff, what more can you ask for? It’s Saturday night so the place was very... busy and we were told it’s a.90 min wait for food but we opted to sit at the outside bar and the food came much sooner! Weordered Charleston Sunset drinks (so delicious), wine, Shrimp & Grits, Fried Flounder & Oysters and Shrimp platter. The greenbeans and garlic mashed potatoes were seasoned well and my Shrimp were fried to perfection! Everything was good, atmosphere waslaid back and relaxing view was great and our waiter/bartender Colton was the bomb! Plenty of seating choices, tables, booths, indoor and outdoor etc… Will def eat here again! Come here, you won’t be disappointed. Read more

The food gets a 5 star. We arrived in a Friday around noon, waited about 10 mins for a table. While we were waiting had two... double vodkas short glass with a splash of grapefruit. $42 really, I know we are in Charleston but that was a little much. Themeal was very good probably the best local oysters I have ever had. I had the Spinach salad which was excellent. My husband hadflounder, very good. So between both meals and two drinks, we spend $150 which included the tip. Would do it again without thedrinks. Along with our meal, had dolphins make an appearance. Make reservations if you plan on coming after 1230-1pm. It waspacked when we left. Read more

The first day we tried to come here, we were late for lunch service, so plan to get there no later than 1pm for lunch service as... it ends at 3:30 and you'll likely have a roughly 30min- 1hr wait. There is a bar you can get drinks from while you wait. We wereseated on the patio which had a great view. The docks do have a bit of a smell to them, but that's just the city, not therestaurant's fault. The food was great, and the portions were decent compared to other places in the city. The oysters werefresh caught and though I don't eat them every one else loved them. Great place to go for lunch! Read more
