Joe was the best waiter we could have asked for. He frequently checked in with us and we never longed for anything. The... atmosphere was great and they had a couple of TVs with sports on. The music played in the restaurant set the mood very well. They even put the game we wanted to watch on TV upon request. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great.Fratello’s was a great family-friendly experience, and we will definitely be returning! Read more

The following notes were taken from the moment I walked in to the end of our service. I will not be coming back to this... restaurant on account of the bland, burnt, and undesirably plated food. The service was good, but the food inspires only afeeling of a broken promise. 4:30 reservation, showed up 25 minutes early. Parked behind the restaurant, back door was open, glanced in as I walked by, couldn't see much other than three cooks, dirty floor. Nobody at the host stand, took 20 seconds tobe noticed and greeted. Got seated wherever we wanted , 4 person party, took a 7 person table. Table had no silverware ready, server brought water instead of asking what drinks we wanted. Arrived at FOH shift change period, server notified us we wouldnot be served by him. Table was wet and another table nearby has crumbs on it. Olive oil and salt shakers were clean. Menus areunlaminated paper in books, stained a bit. Got water (no straws). bread and silverware and plates were promised but haveremained undelivered for about 15 minutes. Cold Bread was delivered about a minute later. Server introduced himself, broughtbread, stated specials and his opinion on them, asked about drinks. Left for 2 minutes, came back and delivered the silverwareand plates, piled up somewhat out of reach. Ordered appetizers, calamari and house pulled mozzarella with roma tomatoes, basil, balsamic reduction with parsley infused olive oil ($13 each). Mozzarella was presented nicely with tomatoes and the balsamicvinegarette and basil. Mozzarella was a bit bland, and overshadowed by the heavy amount of balsamic vinegar. Calamari was notovercooked, but not as crispy as it would be optimally. Waiter came back and refilled drinks, more bread. Explained fire alarmflashing as a systems issue, just switched to a new POS system apparently. Ordered the beet artichoke and red pepper goat cheeseravioli special. Greasy, but well seasoned and flavorful. Waiter took our entree order, manager checked on us. I ord Read more

My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious! I’m usually really picky with red sauces and I loved this... one. I wanted to trade because my fettuccine Alfredo was just okay. The bread was so good I just wish they gave a dipping oilfor it. Read more

Fantastic service, cozy space and delicious menu items. The mushrooms were phenomenal and the tiramisu was to die for.

Our son was recently graduating from high school. We wanted to celebrate at someplace special with the whole family, 10 people... in total. The issue was that we were not sure when the graduation would be finished, and so we could not make definitivereservations. The staff at Fratello's understood our predicament and kindly offered to seat us as late as 2 PM (ordering by2:30 PM). We ended up largely with the restaurant to ourselves, and we had one of the best meal experiences in the Charlestonarea. We will remember this meal and the joyous atmosphere for years to come. It really made an impression. The food wasamazing. And the service was really over the top. Alex made us feel that we were the only people in the world that matteredduring that late lunch. Between appetizers, drinks, main course and a slew of desserts, he made it all seem effortless. We willdefinitely be back soon!! Oh - and my wife left a sweater there accidentally. Well, 5 days later they still had it in theirlost and found. Kudos Fratello's! Read more

I went to fratellos to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday. The food was delicious. I had the chicken marsala and it was the best.... We had dinner rolls served before the meal but there was no butter which I guess is more of a southern thing there was olive oilto eat with the roll. That seemed a little unusual to me. The meals are not served with a salad and that would have been nice ifit were. The service was friendly and we did not have to wait a long time. We did make reservations which I think you prettymuch have to do. So it was a very nice experience with a delicious food. There was even enough for takeout for the next day. Read more

Whoa boy, I had never heard of this place until my birthday. It came up on Maps and we thought, let's go for it. The restaurant... is a nice little place on a nice little road in North Charleston. The food here is exquisite. I had the Chicken Parm and holycow, do they give you some chicken. The desserts were beautiful and delicious as well. Fantastic tiramisu! The dessert martiniwas also fun. The service here was top-notch and I never felt like I wasn't being taken care of. The decor and atmosphere of therestaurant is also wonderful. If you're in the mood for some good Italian, make your next stop at Fratello's! Read more

Food was amazing, great atmosphere too. Played old Italian music from artists like Frank Sinatra, and some swing as well. Nicely... decorated restaurant and bathrooms. The waiters were super friendly as well. Was not dissatisfied at all, and I would definitelycome back! Read more
