Fantastic experience! We booked up a table at 4 pm and everything was smooth and on time. The chef was cooking right in front of... us and the show was amazing. There is a daily special at 4 pm, recommend it to have the best deal. I personally got some sushiand it was the best sushi by taste in Charleston. Lots of space for big companies. The only detail that I would want you to makesure of is that you are OKAY with metal sounding like a metal knife touching the metal cooking surface a lot of time and Ireally don’t like that sound so just be careful if you have such a thing. The ambience was excellent. The service was some of the best we have had. The onion soup was spot on. This was my daughter’s first visit to a hibachi restaurant and I am so glad that we picked this one to be the place where she... tried hibachi for the first time. The server(young guy) was super nice and kept my tea glass full. He always kept a smile on hisface, even under pressure. The chef that came to our table was funny and friendly. The food was tasty and we didn’t have towait to long to be seated, even though it was Sunday evening. The buzzy booth was also lots of fun too! It was a nice addedbonus to the visit. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Our chef was incredible! I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you enjoy burnt to a crisp, you would have been in luck. The food was either undercooked, or burnt. Seemed to be that the... grill was too hot. Instead of our chef noticing, and adjusting- every part of the meal was served this way. Every single personin our party of 7 was upset with the meal we had. It’s a shame to leave a restaurant, where you ordered a dinner for $35, andhave to get food on your way home because it was so bad. To add to our already less than desirable experience, the chef did notsay a word to us. Typically not someone to complain, but was very underwhelmed by managements attempt at making this right. Hisoffer was for us to let him know next time we are there, and he will bring something out for us. As a customer for at least 20years, this was my first bad experience. But will absolutely be the one that I think of whenever going to have hibachi ismentioned. Read more

Gosh, what an experience! It's a beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. My husband and I each got the Kyoto dinner and now we... know that we will be splitting dinners between us moving forward (because what's pictured is what came home with me and myhusband's plate was very similar)! Initially I thought it was kind of pricey, but you totally get what you pay for. I wish I hadcaught the chef's name, because he was so funny! We will absolutely be back. HIGHLY recommend! Read more
