Great overall dining experience. Reservations required with every table filled. Service and food were phenomenal. For starters,... the oysters and blue crab salad stood out as table favorites. Cheese plate was also exceptional. For the main, I ordered the SCsnapper, which was perfect in terms of flavor and texture. The fish had a nice crunch, and was cooked to perfection. The Huskbar next-door had a very cool vibe as we waited before our meal. Read more

I was very hyped about dining at this establishment. We got here a bit early and had to wait. We were suggested to visit their... bar which didn't disappoint: their drinks were great! When we made it to our table we were shortly greeted by our server. He wasfun, pleasant, and knowledgeable of the menu. The food came out fast and was delicious. The dessert was lovely and Husk'ssuggested wine pairings for it were on point. We'll definitely be coming back. Read more

Delicious farm to table fare. Reservations are necessary and I would make them early if you're planning to go and enjoy a meal.... The servers are helpful at giving recommendations and I've never felt like I made a wrong turn with any item I got here. One ofmy favorite locations to eat dinner in Charleston. Read more

This was our fourth visit to Husk. Each time we have visitors in town, we try to go here. It was a lovely meal, as always! The... highlights for me this meal were the peach and tomato salad, the red snapper, and the steak. The lady bug drink was prettierthan it was tasty, but the old fashioned (not pictured) was solid. Our friend’s pork entree (not pictured) was overcooked withlittle to no taste, so the waiter replaced it with the steak. This was the second time we’ve been disappointed with a porkentree here, but we appreciate that the waiter made it right. We had peach beignets for dessert (not pictured), which weredelicious but quite heavy. On a note unrelated to food, now that we have a baby, we’ve discovered that many restaurantsdowntown are not baby friendly. I know you must be thinking, “Why would they bring a baby to Husk??” As someone who is stillbreastfeeding, I cannot make it through a 2-3 hour dinner without dealing with “that issue.” Also, I believe in normalizingbringing well-behaved babies and children to enjoy grownup outings. I only bring this up to say that Husk does not have slingsfor a baby’s car seat, nor do they have a changing station for babies in the downstairs restroom. Thus, my removal of onestar. Overall, it was still a great experience as always! Read more

A brunch delight! Rob took excellent care of us. The cornbread was a delicious variation to a waffle and I got not one, but two... chicken legs! The pork pastrami hash had so many different flavors and was perfectly finished with the poached egg. I enjoyedthat the house mimosa also had a touch of peach, incorporating the Bellini flavor. We heard many good things about Husk and wanted to try it ourselves. We couldn’t get a reservation so put our name on the list... 15 minutes before they started service and it only took 25 minutes to be seated. We had some delicious cocktails in their barwhile we waited. The dinner was incredible, especially knowing it was all made with local ingredients. Husk is a fantastic andunique way to experience southern cuisine and I think it’s a must-visit place while in Charleston. Read more

Came for a dinner, have to have a reservation. The building is really beautiful from the outside, but we were surprised to see... that the inside doesn’t match, really bare and plain. The food however is really good! The chicken starter is great and juicy, the devilled cheese was a nice take too. Had the flounder and the strip loin for mains and were very happy with them. Thechocolate cake was delicious too. Service is very kind and professional and the wine menu is decent. Read more
