My other half been wanting to eat here for a while now and we finally had time to go for last minute dinner. We sat at the bar... and ordered four river wings, pork dry pot, tingly beef noodle, and stir fry local mushroom. My favorite from tonight is thewings, because it has the good mix of hot, well seasoned crispy goodness chicken wings and I cant shake the numbness from thesechuan peppers but I know my wife loves this type of food and sechuan numbness heat so all the food left over will be herbreakfast tomorrow! This place was just as good as any typical Chinese takeout restaurant, nothing crazy however the Chinese takeout prices would be... lot cheaper… ordering white rice is extra charge, not included with meal. The owner(s)/chef(s) needs to refined their cookingskills to be more authentic if they are charging those prices. Drinks were good but I can get good drinks anywhere in Charlestonand service was good. Read more

Food was incredible! Super unique, spicy, hot, delicious. Our host was also very friendly; we didn’t have a reservation so he... offered to sit us at the bar or outside - outside was fine by me! Unfortunately, I’ve found that when a restaurant heavilyadvertises and pushes “family style,” it means that the dishes should be shared since they won’t be able to control howclosely they come out. We preferred to choose our individual dishes; I ended up waiting 30 minutes after she received her foodto receive mine. Also, because we were seated outside, it seemed as if our server forgot about us. We waited quite some time toreceive our bill, and quite some time to pay our bill. This food is yummy and will be great for you if you don’t mind longmeals and sharing all your dishes. Sadly, since that’s not us, I think we will opt for somewhere more service-focused. Read more

If you enjoy Sichuan food then this is the place to be at… you will enjoy a peppery tingling on your tongue after every bite... and enjoy the spicy curry of each dish which is unique. The appetisers quantity is resent enough and the food quantity of themain course is quite good. It does come with curry and you can always order for an extra rice. It has a bar and a common toiletas well. Read more

I don’t think I can recommend this place for many of you folks out there. Like most of you, we checked out the photos and... reviews from other patrons. We decided to give it a try. First, they really frown upon walk-ins without a reservation. They putus out in the patio. The lighting was not good. Mosquitos were bitting that night. I can’t say how awesome the place isbecause we weren’t in it. Most of the entrees average around $20. What kind of Chinese restaurant charges you $3 for a smallbowl of rice. We ordered several dishes and with tax and tip, the bill came out to $85. The beef dish was really oily. We barelygot any pork belly in the hot pot dish. I will pay for great Chinese food, but this failed to meet our expectation. The food wasnot delicious and really overpriced for what you are getting. Read more

Unbeatable!!! We love visiting Kwei Fei. The flavor, spice, & atmosphere are all unbeatable. We enjoyed the fishball curry,... crescent dumplings, Mongolian beef, pork lo mein, & Sichuan sundae (all w/ extra chili crunch, of course??). The porch is alovely place to sit! I highly recommend Kwei Fei! - @tastetravelz Read more

The atmosphere is both cozy and exciting, just like the food! Not for the faint hearted or weak stomached, because the spices... are potent! Very authentic Sichuan cuisine, with great portions at an affordable price, and not a single dish disappointed. Myfavorites were the marinated cucumbers, the chili oil noodles and the crescent dumplings. The Born on the Baijiu cocktail wasmagnificent too ???? Read more
