Leyla came out to greet us over the freshest, most delicious fattoush and tabouleh we’ve ever had. We are locals who keep... coming back for more and would encourage anyone who loves fresh vegan, vegetarian, or proteins fit for any omnivore, to comehere and enjoy in beautiful, historic downtown Charleston. Really worth a stop here. Start with a great cocktail from the menu. Then Baba Ghanoush and Hummus, which were both very... good. Then make a hard choice and go with the lamb shank. I've rarely had better. The staff is great. Parking in thisneighborhood can be challenging, but Leyla is worth it. Read more

One of the best restaurants in downtown Charleston. Family owned and operated, you won’t be disappointed with any selection... you make! I highly recommend a special cocktail, the Lamb Shank, and an order of Osmalieh with a scoop of pistachio ice cream. Read more

Definitely an excellent Mediterranean restaurant. Excellent cocktails and the Lebanese beer is a delicious Pilsner with a hint... of spices and mildly sweet taste. The lamb was tender and the best we have had in a long time. The humus was well balanced withthe tahini not overpowering the flavor of the garbanzo beans. The olive oil used was of the best quality we have had in a longtime. And what can we say about dessert, is just the almost perfect end of the meal. And why almost perfect? Because the perfectend is the delicious Lebanese coffee. Definitely will be back, Lord willing , whenever we’re back in town. Read more

One of my favorite places in Charleston! As an Iraqi visiting yearly to Charleston, this is my go to place to visit every time... we are in town. The food is so delicious, the appetizers are fantastic but that dessert… yum yum yum! The servers there are sokind and I ordered a drink that has arak in it. I believe the way I ordered it, the server asked to make sure I like licorice(arak had a strong licorice flavor) but he knew by how I said the word, I was arabic. The flower inside the drink is a fabuloustouch! My favorite entree is the chicken tawook with the garlic and rice + fries. This dish will not disappoint. This is a 10/10highly recommend restaurant and I’m so glad to see an arabic spot in Charleston! Read more

Leyla’s restaurant is amazing. We have been coming for a few years and had dinner there about a dozen times. We are never... disappointed. The humus is the best I ever had and is amazing- best ever and super fresh with fresh ingredients. The otherdinner items are always fresh and tasty. You will not disappointed by service and quality. They are also super careful withallergies. My family is gluten-free and shellfish free as well. They are very well equipped with many allergies. Recently hadtheir salmon dinner l...it was crispy and moist and delicious....see pics. Read more
