We ordered Lahori Chhole, Chat Papri Snack Plate and Butter Paneer with naan and Epic Mango Lassi. The owners recommend these... must try dishes since we told them we're vegetarians. The food arrived, I tasted all of it one by one and then I was onlyconfused for the rest of the meal, which one should I have in the next bite. The Naan they serve here is different than naansI've had everywhere else in the US (trust me, I try Indian food everywhere I go). Even right now when I'm writing this review 10hours later, my mouth's watering thinking about the flavor of Butter Paneer! The owners are extremely kind and generous too! Ifyou're in Charleston area, I highly recommend this place for Pakistani/ Indian food! The Five star rating is absolutely worthand this place is definitely underrated (since it doesn't have as many ratings and reviews as other places). Read more

I?ve eaten a lot of Indian food in life, from my Indian friends? moms who cook phenomenally to home cooked food at Indian... grocery stores and amazing spots in all the major U.S. cities as well as London, well-known for its Indian food, so I think Ihave a pretty good sense of how delicious it can be. Let me just say that Ma?am Saab knows what?s up and I wish I could go toher house every Sunday for lunch, but having this restaurant is a close second! The butter chicken is otherworldly...seriously!! My husband and I agree we could drink the sauce it?s in and the chicken is so tender. I?ve never had better butterchicken. It?s creamy, rich, complex, not sugary, has so much flavor without being overwhelmed by spice... it?s absolutelybeautiful. Nothing we ordered tasted less than good but if you have to choose one thing on the menu and you aren?t vegetarian, trust me now and thank me later... you?ve got to try the butter chicken. Thanks, Ma?am Saab for the love you put into your food! Read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! This is the best Pakistani food I have ever had! The food is amazing and for a relatively good price. If you?ve... never tried Pakistani food, come here to this restaurant to experience it because you will not regret it. The flavors are sorich but not too potent. The spices give everything from the chickpeas down to the basmati rice an aromatic flavor that?s sogood! If you?re a group of 5 or more people, I suggest ordering one of the plater options they have which gives you a littletaste of everything! If you?re not interested in the samplers then I recommend the Butter Chicken Curry with a side of MasalaFries! This place has become a personal favorite for my friends and I! The owners, chefs, and workers are all so incrediblysweet which makes this place more than 5 stars! If you?re in Downtown Charleston, it?s worth checking out while Workshop isstill open! Read more

We are 4 Argentinians on a road-trip from Houston to Nashville. One of the main reasons we are picking the places to visit or... stay is food. While on the road, 50mi before arriving to Charleston, I gave my crew the challenge to find a place for dinner. They found Ma?am Saab that was closing in less than an hour after our arrival and we still had to check-in at our hotel. So wereally rushed and we found this amazing food so well made and perfectly presented! We tried the Lahore sampler with extraMassala fries. Soooo good! We told the owner how good his food was and he mentioned his wife is the master behind all thosewonderful and flavorful dishes that transported us to South Asia and Middle East, even when we?ve just starting exploring thesouthern... They briefly shared their stories and how they started this business. What a nice couple! We had such a great mealand a lovely welcome to Charleston! Thanks for staying after closing time so we could finish it all! Read more

And the reason of my first review ever, because a don?t use to write any kindof recommendations. But Ma?am Saab worth everything. We order the Lahore Sample. I don?t have words to describe it. Just astair directly to the heaven. The flavors, the textures, the colors...So amazing!! We are going to remember this day for therest of our life?s. Thank you Maryam and your lovely family! Hope we can visit you again! Read more
