Amazing dining experience. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I recommend going for dinner if you’re in town. Get... a reservation. Lots of parking on roads nearby. The scallops were my favorite. All of the food we got was perfect. The wine listis great. The Negroni blanc cocktail was top tier. Amazing place. Read more

If I lived here, I would be here everyday! Evan, the bartender is so knowledgeable and dare to say the best bartender in town.... His craft cocktails are tops and the food is excellent! It’s a must while in Charleston! Read more

Truly lovely meal in a city full of great food. The onion soup croquette was a great, much lighter take on the classic which is... otherwise usually very filling and takes up much of one's appetite for the rest of the menu. Mimolette shaved on top was adiscerning touch from someone who must really care about cheese. The beet salad was nice but grossly overshadowed by thescallops that followed - truly one of the best plates I have been presented all year, sneaking in right under the wire at theend of December. Haphazardly mixing French and English on the menu is an odd choice in my opinion - who exactly is the customerwho knows what the "poisson" is but needs to be told that it is "roasted" - but can definitely be overlooked for the excellent, unfussy preparations. Additional compliments to the restaurant and staff for executing perfectly in the middle of COVID staffingshortages on a busy holiday week. Read more

I was very excited to visit this place. It was fine. It did not live up to my expectations based on the Google review... hype. Pros: - good service, constantly checking in and quick to refill drinks. - great chocolate mousse dessert. - endive saladwas nice, nice mix of cheese/apple/endive. Cons: - no bread and butter. Quite odd for a french restaurant. - the "socca" wasnot traditional at all. Traditional socca from the south of France is crispy. This was a soggy crepe. - the steak frites weresupposed to be in a pepper sauce. This wasn't that, it had a strong flavor of offal and lacked that traditional black pepperflavor. Generally just a bit of a miss. A french restaurant trying to stretch beyond the traditional and missing the mark. Read more
