Place is small and they can fit a few more tables in and prices are STEEP. 2 lobster rolls with no sides or drink were $55, BUT... they were really good. Buns are delicious too. They don't give much meat for the price seemed like a 1/4 pound maybe, but againif you want a good lobster roll you'll get it. Read more

I was on the hunt for a good lobster roll whilst in Charleston, Connecticut style, and found mason?s via a quick google search.... My goodness was it good! The rolls were buttery and warm, and the lobster filled the rolls and had great flavor! In all honestyI could?ve eaten two but $20 or so is the max I?ll spend on a lobster roll. There are also a selection of beers and other nonalcoholic beverages. You won?t be disappointed! Read more

I had to return to Mason?s for another classic lobster roll. The bread was soft, buttery and fresh, with just the right amount... of tender lobster. It was filling, but I had to have a cup of lobster bisque soup. Both were delicious, satisfying andaffordable! Mason?s is conveniently located across from The Market. It is clean and the service is great! Read more

Good, but not great. Service was fine, and friendly. Clean interior with cafe seating. Lobster rolls are always expensive and... slightly on the skimpy side, and this place is no exception. The lobster was tender, which means properly cooked, and the flavorwas good. There are several bottled beverage options and a simple dessert offering. So, if you?re looking for a no frills, decent roll for about $23 then this is the place for you. Read more

I had the Connecticut Roll and potato salad and both were so tasty! In my opinion the price doesn?t reflect the portion size... well, but at the same time it was the perfect amount of food for me. Next time I?ll have to try the classic roll :) Read more

Holy lobster rolls. This was the perfect spot for someone who loves lobster with light mayo/lemon butter dressing??????? and... someone who absolutely hates mayo ???????. We visited all three days while in Charleston because the lobster was tender, juicy,FRESH, and the toast that it was served in...wickedly worth it. We will always go to Mason's when we travel through Charleston.I used to hate lobster...but you cannot pass Mason's up. Read more

This place is amazing! Don't miss it! We knew we wanted lobster rolls on our vacation to South Carolina and did our research... in advance. Mason's did not disappoint. The lobster was fresh and tasty without being overdone. Portions were generous. Thebread was equally delicious and lightly toasted. We will be dreaming of these rolls for a while before our next visit. Read more
