The chef can be seen from the open floor. TURN OFF! I ordered the brisket sandwich 1 star ! No flavor what so ever. Covered... with cheese. The crisp onions are on the bottom of sandwich no decor or anything. Second order was the traditional breakfast,fried potatoes were unseasoned tasteless and scrambled eggs as well. Came for a nice date night dinner. The food and service were both mediocre, and it seemed like they were both a result of being... understaffed, which is a shame because I’m willing to bet both the food and service would be very good if they had the staff.While nothing was terrible the food just seemed to be like warm and not “fresh”, and our waiter was the only one coveringthe entire outdoor area where we were sitting. Appetizer was great, hummus, warm spinach and pimento cheese with pita. My wife had the fish and chips, fish coating was a... little salty but good. I had the house burger, it was great even though the top bun was hard. Took the banana pudding cheesecakehome, it was great. Bad points, server appeared to not be interested in working, food took a long time, no offer of ketchup forfries or vinegar for fries or fish.
