Appetizer was great, hummus, warm spinach and pimento cheese with pita. My wife had the fish and chips, fish coating was a... little salty but good. I had the house burger, it was great even though the top bun was hard. Took the banana pudding cheesecakehome, it was great. Bad points, server appeared to not be interested in working, food took a long time, no offer of ketchup forfries or vinegar for fries or fish. A lot more noise than anticipated not being in the bar area, young boy a few table over washolding his ears. Last the advertise they have the best fried chicken, wouldn't know, they were out of any white meat chickenand didn't suggest anything. Very sad in the day and age that places can't deliver Read more

The chef can be seen from the open floor. TURN OFF! I ordered the brisket sandwich 1 star ! No flavor what so ever. Covered... with cheese. The crisp onions are on the bottom of sandwich no decor or anything. Second order was the traditional breakfast, fried potatoes were unseasoned tasteless and scrambled eggs as well. They were a little runny. Best thing were the bacon andfruit and mimosas. Only thing surviving this place is the mimosas, fried chicken and burgers. MAKE SURE TO READ REVIEWS Read more

Came for a nice date night dinner. The food and service were both mediocre, and it seemed like they were both a result of being... understaffed, which is a shame because I’m willing to bet both the food and service would be very good if they had the staff. While nothing was terrible the food just seemed to be like warm and not “fresh”, and our waiter was the only one coveringthe entire outdoor area where we were sitting. Very interesting decor and a very cool place. Fried chicken is famous and it's excellent. The blacken snapper BLT was also... outstanding. Staff was friendly and took great care of us. Definitely worth a visit. Read more

My friend's daughter's birthday yesterday prompted us to drive down from Columbia. We enjoyed brunch at Ms. Rose's and... everything was spot-on delicious. Our server, Cody, was efficient, personable, and took good care of us. My fried flounder andgrits with tasso gravy just could not be improved upon. My friend got the shrimp and grits and proclaimed it was alsodelicious. It was a chilly morning and I ordered the millionaire's coffee believing it would be served hot. It wasn't and itwas missing the whipped creme but I enjoyed it iced. The younger guys ordered a post-brunch peach shot and they said it wasgood. Reasonable prices for what we had and will definitely visit again. Read more
