Overall I would say it was a good not great experience. The waiter was exceptional the drinks were eh the food was decent but... nothing mind blowing. So then why the good not great well when it comes to pricing and i spend over $100 per person then Iexpect greatness. Again the waiter was great when it came to his demeanor, attentiveness and suggestions, but the part that waslacking was definitely the cocktails and food. Not bad by any standard just not great. I went here for restaurant week and the steak flavor was good, but that was the only thing good. The Ceasar salad was kinda... small. The steak was supposed to be 8oz but when it came to the table it liked like it was 6oz. The smashed potatoes were ok,but that also was small in size. Lastly, the peanut butter dessert, had potatoes chips on top of the cake slice. The water boywas more on top of thing than our waitress and my drink was empty for a good bit. The manager was out by the podium and he justsays bye when you leave. He didn’t open the door as we walked out like they do at Halls. For a high end restaurant, this isnot worth my time in the future! I will not return and this is why I don’t go anywhere but Halls Steakhouse! Read more

Atmosphere was wonderful, service was outstanding but the steaks, oh my goodness, the steaks were above and beyond phenomenal!... Hands down the best we've ever had. It's true you get what you pay for. And we were very impressed! Read more

It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself to a special meal. So I checked out many places and decided on the Oak. I went... about 8:15 and sat at the bar. The bartender was excellent. She did a great job. I ordered the chopped salad to start, whichlooked good, but the dressing was a bit salty. I went with the NY strip for my steak, with creamed spinach. The spinach wasabsolutely delicious, with a sort of smoke/pork flavor; really creamy. But the steak was sub par. First, as you can see fromthe pic it looks more like a filet. And as I cut into it my knife I hit a tendon of some sort that seemed to run through thewhole steak. Cutting it with a steak knife was difficult. Chewing it was nearly impossible. And I ordered it medium rare: ths steak was almost raw in the center. The parts I was able to chew were flavorful. But at a $63 price point I should be ableto eat the WHOLE steak. So for the steak failure alone, I won't be rushing back any time soon. Read more

Loved this restaurant. We we sat on the 3rd floor by the window next to the fireplace. Its was peaceful more quiet. But just... perfect. I loved the ambiance and historical design of this building mire than 100 years old. High ceilings and it feltairy. The food was on point. Simple menu but just perfect. the room I was in would be the perfect date place or a familydinner. A must experience. Read more

Great atmosphere! Everything from start to finish was awesome. Food was great and seasoned to perfection. We ordered the mix... grill, King Crab, and Oysters Rockefeller. Reservations are a must. Due to it being a popular spot, set your reservations atleast a few days in advance. Trying to get a table the day of is possible, but highly unlikely, especially on the weekends. Read more

The BEST service, atmosphere and food!! Homemade braised beef ravioli was delectable surrounded by al dente pasta and a... delicious dark, thick brown gravy. Flavorful King crab served with lemon and butter melted in your mouth. Mashed potatoes andcream spinach were excellent sides. Rolls served with dinner were great tasting. A tip if you’re a party of two, ask to beseated upstairs by the window. Great view of the city. Another tip if you dine on Sundays they offer $40 off any bottles of wineover $80. Enjoy!! ????
