Amazing and authentic (not American-ized) Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend going as a group and ordering several dishes for... the full effect, but everything on the menu of absolutely fantastic. The service at this restaurant is also very very fast, andyou can tell they make every dish skillfully and to order. Will definitely be returning in the future. Absolutely amazing food. Read more

We ordered the fish soup which was unfortunately too spicy for us. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and shrimp fried noodles as... well. Unfortunately the chicken had some chicken cartilage pieces which was not very delicious and had some very chewy pieces. The shrimp fried noodles were great! The service was alright and we needed to stand up and pay at the front desk as the serverdid not check up on us although it was not crowded. Read more

We found this place in a pinch since most restaurants are closed during Christmas, but this place doesn't disappoint. To be... honest I am very surprised to find this authentic Chinese food in Charleston. The menu contains quite a selection of authenticChinese dishes, with General Tsao type of westernized Chinese food in the back. We ordered a "squirrel" fish and an eggplantdish, which are both very traditional. The eggplant dish is very well cooked, albeit slightly on the sweeter side than I had inmind. It would be nicer if they put some ground meat in it. The "squirrel" fish was not done right. "Squirrel" fish is a deepfried fish with sweet sauces glazed outside. The outer shell should be crunchy. But this one was mostly soggy and very greasy. I don't think it was done properly. Room for improvement. But overall I do like the food and I am very happy to find thisplace in Charleston. Highly recommend to people who wants to try real authentic Chinese food. Read more

Our party of 4 went family style at lunch time on Saturday, and loved everything. For starters we ordered spring rolls, egg... rolls, cheesy chicken chop. The chicken chop was a lot better than I had imagined, and the egg rolls and spring rolls werepretty standard. For mains we had a half Peking duck which was phenomenal, Kung Pao Chicken which was good, super spicy thoughso just be aware. The Dongpo pork was my absolute favorite thing, super tender pork belly and a brown sauce. Shrimp fried ricewas the best I?ve ever had from any place. Spicy shrimp was a great size lunch special- not as spicy as the Kung Pao but it wasjust right. We took dumplings to go. When you eat there you get some good kimchi and pickled veggie appetizers and a cutelittle cake for desert. A nice touch! Would absolutely go again and try even more things, it?s just hard to figure out what youwant if you?re not familiar with the cuisine. But everything is so good! Read more

If you are looking for authentic Chinese food in South Carolina (I know this is rare) this is the place. I have lived here for 8... years and this is the first place that fits the bill. The staff is Chinese and the food doesn?t disappoint. We tried just abouteverything on the menu and here are the highlights. Family style portions... Shrimp fried rice, flavorful. Peking duck wascooked to perfection. Lo menu, tasty. Sweet and sour chicken delicious. Stuffed chicken breast with cheese... sounds odd, butyummy. Rice balls and egg rolls on point! Read more

Amazing new addition to the Chinese food scene. We've only done takeout and the food has been delicious. The staff is... extremely friendly and the restaurant is spacious. The fried fish dishes (Typhoon and Scallion fish) that we tried had a crunchyexterior and the fish was moist. The Peking Duck was flavorful and the skin was crispy. The soups have all been great and theportion sizes here are enough for a few more meals. Looking forward to working our way through the rest of the menu. Read more
