Horrible experience! Hostess has a real attitude and must be extremely miserable with her job. Our bar waitress was... wonderful. Only reason I?m giving it 2 stars. She did a great job at happy hour keeping up with drinks. Go for happy houronly for the $5 pizza and Prosecco. Skip it otherwise. Read more

Went for the food happy hour specials and did not disappoint! Our bartender was great and he was very busy but never showed that... it was too much. He was very professional, nice, and always had a smile. We tried the amazing stuffed mushrooms and deliciouspizza but will be back to try other items for sure! Read more
I've been to the Lidi happy hour 3 different times over several years and the menu selection is great with appetizers and drink... options. We have always sat at one of the open tables rather than the bar seating. Each time I have encountered the samebartender who is snarky and approaches you with an attitude of annoyance. His service is mediocre and he seems put out that youare there with each approach to the table. The food is consistent and delivered timely. The restaurant must close by 8pm becauseI noticed the staff bringing in the signs by that time and seemed to be cleaning up. We were not asked if we wanted anythingafter our meal and was approached with the handheld payment system to pay instead. The system defaults to a 27% tip as the firstoption which I would gladly pay for someone who was at least nice to me...instead, I default to the 20% option. I am well awareof the staffing issues but there is always time to at least be kind. In the future, I will skip the cheaper happy hour for themore pleasant staff. Read more

My partner and I went there for dinner. The food was great and the ambiance was very ?round the way? feeling, very ?mom and pop?... like. I imaged an old grandma milling about the kitchen making sure everything was done correctly. We ordered dessert to go.Upon arriving home (we walked) I noticed my dessert wasn?t a regular cannoli order but instead was something cannoli like, butnot quite; when it comes to THIS PARTICULAR dessert, I?m a traditionalist through and though. Disappointed, I called therestaurant to find out what happened, which was when I learned about the seasonal special pumpkin cannoli mixup. Theowner/manager asked, ?Do you live on the island?? Surprised, I responded, ?yes, I do, we just walked home.? Without missing abeat, he says, ?Oh great, please, allow me to have a driver to bring over your correct dessert order right now, if you?d like!??And not 10min later, a driver arrived w dessert in hand AND a little gift certificate for our trouble! Completely unnecessary,that last part, but it shows class and a commitment to their customers. I was very impressed and we will be going back, forsure, in the near future. Read more
