Wonderful dining experience. The food was incredible! Scallops were cooked to perfection. I had the shrimp and polenta.... Polenta was creamy. Loved the romantic courtyard and loved the guitarist! Sermet?s is my restaurant number 1 in all Charleston. There is not another restaurant like this one. I have traveled the world... and I know enough about good food to say Sermet?s has created a menu with his heart. He is passionate to serve his clients thebest. Kayla, one of the best qualified, customer service oriented, caring and knowledgeable staff Sermet?s has. She can readyour mind to know what the best drink is for each day. I have tried other restaurants in Charleston, and I always regret it. SoSermet?s is my best restaurant and place to go every week. Always a great experience. Absolutely the best restaurant on Daniel Island. If your looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, amazing atmosphere and... overall good time you should eat here. Staff is super friendly. Guitar is played on non-raining days in the courtyard. Lots ofstreet parking nearby. You should definitely get a reservation because it is a small restaurant especially when it rains and thecourtyard is closed. Highly recommend. Read more
This has been my favorite spot to go for my Bday for the past 8 years almost and every so often for a date night, Mother's day... or Father's. I've gotten to know the owner and always superb. Very nice place. It you're willing to wait for quality andexcellent food this is the place to go. Service has always been great. Sermets is the spot on Daniel Island to go for aromantic, relax and even casual dinner experience. I dont recommend places often. But definitely give this one a 100 ????review... Very cute patio and the food was EXCELLENT. THE BRAISED Beef short rib was excellent. I would skip the gnocchi only because I... felt like I could have made something like that at home. Would highly recommend to go here. They even had live music playing andhe was very talented. Cute spot and cozy courtyard. Read more
We enjoyed Sermet's Courtyard very much (although, sadly, we didn't get to sit in the courtyard due to the threat of lightning).... The did was excellent with great service. We started with the fresh pulled mozzarella and cherry tomatoes in EVOO and balsamicvinegar. It was so good it was gone before I could take a picture. For the main course I had the special which a broiled halibutover green tea infused jasmine rice in a coconut tomato cream sauce with asparagus and bokchuy. Deeeeeeeeelicious. My wife hadthe fettuccine bolognes. Also very good. I liked the wine list as well (not that I'm a wine expert). We were too full fordessert. Next time. Read more
The menu is small but mighty! The seafood special was divine with butternut squash ravioli...OMG! It's a small place but there... is a bar area for seating as well. Compliments to the Chef and and all of Sermet's Staff. I had a great dinner and I woulddefinitely recommend if you are in the area. Read more
