Foods great. Find someone to take orders that doesn?t roll her eyes when we change from dine in to carry out? My son fell in... your store, was crying and asked to go home, and I get a condescending eye roll. Wrong person to be taking orders. Had nopatience because we weren?t experts at ordering (and wasn?t helpful there either). Reason for 3 and not 1 stars, is the cook inthe back that came out with our food and cookie for my son saying she didn?t want him to have a bad time at Ladles. Put her infront of the customers! Every soup that I've had here has been great. A couple of them are exceptional actually. The price for the portions are... perfect. Place looks clean & employees have been nice. Edit: There prices are inconsistent; A sandwich with a soup add on is2/2.50 upcharge & 1/2 sandwhiches are around the $4 mark) however my total was $9. It should've been 6-7 even the person whorung me up was confused & their updated menus aren't posted anywhere online as well. Read more
I first visited Ladles after receiving a kidney transplant in May of 2020. They were actually on a list of places that the... Transplant Team approved for post transplant patients, so I figured...what the heck, we will try it. Well I am so glad we did.From the moment we dined, Ladles has become one of my all-time favorite places in Charleston. Each time we are in town we headthere for some of the best soup/sandwiches we have had. Right now my favorite is the Club with turkey chili. They offermultiple portion option. The soup is always fresh, flavorful, and piping hot. They service is wonderful as well. Theatmosphere is inviting and cozy. Great place to dine! Read more
No she crab?!? Been going here forever. Everything is good. It?s a great option for something other than fast food.... Unfortunately though, Ladles just isn?t Ladles without the she crab soup. It?s the primary reason we go there. No she crab soupSunday-Thursday and out by 4 o?clock on Friday? Four stars because I know it?s still great and I hope things will get back tonormal. Read more
We love their great soup selections. I had the turkey chili that was nice and spicy and great flavor. The salads are large and... filling. Bathrooms were clean, which is a good indication to how clean the kitchen is. We will be back. Read more
I ate Greek lemon chicken soup and strawberry mozzarella salad on this my second time here. I think the the staff is terrific at... helping customer make informed healthy choices, the prices are low, and the food is spectacular! Hot weather and delicious warmsoup in an air conditioned setting with a cold salad. Heaven on earth today! I recommend this location near Folly Beach, JanesIsland. I love their Lemon Greek chicken soup. Lunch time is always busy, however you can call ahead and pickup at the window or inside.... I use their loyalty program to gather points towards discounted meals. They offer a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. Read more
