one of the best sushi meals, and one of the best meals overall I've ever had! If you appreciate top end sushi this is a must... try. for a true 8-10 seat omakase only experience i would say it is not cheap, but very reasonable considering this is onlywhat they do - versus other restaurants which have full dining rooms. $60/person for omakase which is available on fridays -sundays. SO WORTH IT. Its not just good food but also an experience. I... genuinely felt like i went on trip! They are really skilled with their preparation skill and each piece was so different andmade very well in terms of rice:sushi ratio. We also got the drunken whale sake ($34). The chefs are so humble and have greatpersonalities. Very easy to talk to and you can tell that they love what they do. They prepared our food and explained each dishto us. My favorite sushi spot in town. The Omakase meal (chef?s choice of a series of sushi/sashimi) is a wonderful and special... experience. Sushi comes out one or two pieces at a time, so you savor each unique bite. You get to try very high quality fishthat you might not otherwise know to order on your own.
