My favorite sushi spot in town. The Omakase meal (chef?s choice of a series of sushi/sashimi) is a wonderful and special... experience. Sushi comes out one or two pieces at a time, so you savor each unique bite. You get to try very high quality fishthat you might not otherwise know to order on your own. Everyone sits at the chef?s counter, so you can watch them at work andenjoy chatting with them throughout the meal. Read more

Amazing experience. We love sushi and this was by far the best sushi we've ever had. The two chefs are very friendly and prepare... delicious bites in front of you for an amazing two hour or so tasting experience. Highly recommended. Read more

The Omakase experience is what you would find in NYC or the west coast; quality and presentation. Get a reservation early, as... there's very limited seating. As of typing, only $80/pr. I'll be attempting to return every month. Read more

Absolutely amazing experience, if you?ve never been to a true omakase with sushi chefs who know they are doing, you will not... find a better deal than $80 per person. Each piece was amazing and Chris was super helpful with sake recommendations. Best sushiin the state of South Carolina. Read more

My boyfriend and I recently tried the omakase experience. Chris and Kazuyuki are very inviting and talented chefs. They created... an unforgettable experience and AMAZING sushi! The wagyu beef is optional but 100% worth it. Read more

one of the best sushi meals, and one of the best meals overall I've ever had! If you appreciate top end sushi this is a must... try. for a true 8-10 seat omakase only experience i would say it is not cheap, but very reasonable considering this is onlywhat they do - versus other restaurants which have full dining rooms. This creates a very unique and intimate diningexperience. Mostly a Nigiri meal, each serving is incredibly tender and well seasoned. Read more

$60/person for omakase which is available on fridays -sundays. SO WORTH IT. Its not just good food but also an experience. I... genuinely felt like i went on trip! They are really skilled with their preparation skill and each piece was so different andmade very well in terms of rice:sushi ratio. We also got the drunken whale sake ($34). The chefs are so humble and have greatpersonalities. Very easy to talk to and you can tell that they love what they do. They prepared our food and explained each dishto us. It was intimate as only 7 people were seated for omakase. Hands down - best sushi in charleston. Read more
