Amazing food, had a platter with a poached egg on a crab cake, on a fried green tomato with remoulade sauce. The fancy latte was... very sweet and delicious. Read more

I was very disappointed with the food quality. Spending $40 on breakfast, I certainly expect much better. The croissant was... burnt to a crisp and the omelette was not good. Read more

Coffee is delicious. Giant cups. So far the chicken and waffles are my favorite dish. Followed by your surf and turf. Super... quick seating and service. Read more

Well, headed out this morning for breakfast while in North Charleston. Stopped in at the Toast all day. Thought, hey this looks... like a simple breakfast place, So in we went. That was a mistake. My wife and I ordered a simple breakfast of eggs over medium, toast bacon and one with grits PLAIN and one with home fries. Grits had enough butter to grease a fleet of trucks,, I do notconsider that plain, and home fries tasted like old axel grease. As for the eggs, they were just to the over easy point. Morelike eggs soup as you can see from picture. Asked for new eggs, came back same way. So this is not the place for breakfast.Ordered mimosa's but no where did it say wine. So figured normal Champagne, nope wine. 24 dollars for them. No no no. So overallthe server was great but the food gets and F-. Place nothing special. And table not even wiped clean. Will not be coming backEVER. Cost for a simple breakfast $50.00. Insane.after very politely discussing the breakfast with sercer she took .$3.00 offmeal, No, should have taken at least 1 meal off the ticket. Only thing close was the bacon and was not well done as asked for. Read more

Loved this diner style restaurant. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I was super excited to find out... they had real cornbeef hash as a breakfast dish(they make it fresh daily and shred the pieces) it's so hard to find and it didnot disappoint. They also have a great variety of mimosas and the waitress was very attentive. I'll be back real soon. Note:I'd recommend larger portion for the children breakfast- my son is 6 and the French toast was 1 piece cut in half and 1 sausagelink. We had to order 2 or we could have opted for an adult size. They stuff a half a loaf of raisin bread with your choice of either apple's of peaches and then deep fry it!! It was sooogood!! My wife had an omelette and some of my french toast. Service was great as well. We hope to stop in again before weleave town to try something else. Read more

A family of 5 dinned at the Toast! restaurant. Our arrival times 1:30. The pictures from other reviews do not do this place... justice. We were greeted and seated by Lorraine and Jessica was our waitress. Both who did a superb job to catering to all ofour needs. Jessica had wonderful recommendations for drinks and food. Food presentation was fabulously displayed as well asdelicious. Food was delivered very fast. Prices were reasonable, siding on the higher end. WELL WORTH the experience if you’rean out-of-towner like my family. Coffee pictured is called “Shot in the Dark”. Meal pictured “Fried Green Tomato BLT”with a side of sweet potato fries! YUM!!
