We didn't eat, came after dinner elsewhere. Heard live music from down the road, so we stopped in. Music was played with comic... relief in between songs or even during. Had some stories and some Irish knowledge drops. Irish Mule and Old Fashioned were good,as expected. There's a ton of Irish heritage things to see on the walls, everywhere. Very cool place! It's a pub, not a fancybar. I loved it! Read more

My husband and I have been going to Tommy Condon's for the past 12 years, and he has been going even longer. We always enjoyed... good Irish Nachos, Fish and Chips and other items, along with good beer. We celebrated birthday's there and friends. Unfortunately, the past year, we noticed changes. Recipes changed, food cooked less than great, and service suffered. But wewere hopeful they would recover. On the first Sunday on King (Charleston) we visited again. Surprised, we were the only peoplethere at lunchtime on the patio and still only people at 1:30. We thought they were closed. Our waiter was great (only goodthing that day). Irish Nachos were below adequate, serving size not even filling half a plate and their traditional ones werenot on the plate. We figure a new line cook at the helm. We ordered fish and chips to split and tried to eat it. The friestasted like they were one or two days old and heated up. They were more limp than a piece of spaghetti. Coleslaw was warm andsour. Fish had lots of breading, but couldn't find much fish. It was disappointing, and it was our last chance for hopefulnessat Tommy Condons. Now I know why no one was there, and even after an hour or so, only 2-3 tables inside were filled. Get achef, get back on track and start cooking like they use to is my opinion. Read more

We walked in at an off time (about 3pm) and just sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and did an excellent job at... keeping our drinks full. We also got the soft pretzel appetizer to munch on. There was a little too much salt added to thepretzel. But other wise it tasted wonderful! Read more

This was a beautiful place. We didn’t even explore the entire outside areas. Our bartender was fabulous and our drinks tasty.... If it hadn’t been for the aggressive teenager hanging around the entrance trying to push corn husk roses on us, it might havebeen five stars. This was just for drinks. Read more

Wow, what an experience! I've always wanted to eat an authentic Irish pub, and this place didn't disappoint. I chose the corned... beef and cabbage and finally was able to get the proper pour of Guinness! The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and thestaff was very prompt and knowledgeable. Grant showed me the proper way and explained the reason behind the proper pour. Pleaseask for him, he's a great server, as I'm sure the rest of the staff are. If you're ever in Charleston please give them a try! Read more
