Great sushi! Fresh fish! One of my favorite sushi spots in Charleston. Love that most rolls can be wrapped in cucumber or have a... brown rice option. Naminori roll and the Asian Tartare are my favorite. Read more

We have been going to the Daniel Island restaurant for several years and have never had a problem. The bartenders had to be... the rudest people. They were more interested in talking about their personal relationship. Food was not as good as in thepast. This will be the last time we will visit. Going out for a few hours should be enjoyable and it was an absolutemiserable experience. Never again way to many good restaurants and good people in Charleston. Read more

Ordered takeout and arrived right on time that it said it would be ready. Food was cold by the time I got to my car. Filet and... scallop hibachi dinner was small and disappointing. Filet consisted of 5 small bite size pieces that were very dry. I asked formedium rare, but they barely had a hint of pink. Scallops tasted good but there were only 4 normal sized scallops. SC crunchroll just seemed very small for a speciality $14 roll and the crunch had already gotten soft. Definitely not worth the $50 Ispent trying to treat myself. (Picture does show roll after two pieces were eaten) Read more

Definitely never getting it again. I got it for delivery. The edamame gyoza said it was just edamame and vegetables. That was... definitely edamame with some pork like mixture and I can?t have pork. Worst after taste I?ve ever had. My bf got the chickenlettuce wraps but the majority of it was rice noodles. There are many places around here that will give you a lot more chicken. It was actually pretty funny. The lettuce wrap part. Not my experience though. Honestly might puke. I?m sorry. I?ve neverwritten a review and hate to make a mean one. I might puke. I?m horrified. And if I?m wrong about that being some pork mixture Imight be even more, lol. Read more

The last time I went, I had a great experience. This time, I paid $34.30 (to-go plus tip) for the absolute worst tempura and... calamari I've ever had in my life. The calamari seasoning was sickening, the batter on both was so soggy with oil that I justthrew everything out. It's not like it sat forever, it came out of the kitchen, into my hands, and I brought it less than fiveminutes to my hotel. The salad and miso soup was forgotten from the order too. I lived in Japan for nearly 8 years and youwouldn't even find cheap vending machine food this bad in Japan. Read more

Might just be the best sushi in the Charleston area and totally worth the trip to Daniel Island (they also have a MT. Pleasant... location). Atmosphere is nice. Service is great. Food and drinks are spectacular. Completely fresh. The sushi roll combinationsare interesting. The pad prik was really good... the steak was tender and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. We also orderedthe udon noodles which were equally as delicious. I would definitely call before making a trip here just to make sure thereisn?t an event happening at the stadium across the street. The restaurant can then be overcrowded and they sometimes offer alimited menu during concert/event nights. Oh and the outdoor music on the patio is a nice bonus!! This is really a great place.
