We arrived at 12:30 pm, seated at 12:35 pm when staff functioned as cashier, seater and carry out person. I counted at least 5... servers and 2 in kitchen. We waited until 12:48 pm to order and received my undercooked home fries and vegetables in my westernomelet at 1:14 pm. The veggies were hard enough to be in a salad. We overheard staff talking about a problem in the kitchen with"him". Throughout our time there I saw at least 3 tables not bused while we heard ongoing chatter by the servers. The restaurantwas not full. It seemed the average wait for food was 30-40 minutes. This is not our normal experience at a Bob Evans and wetravel at least 4 weeks a year and usually find Bob Evans franchises consistently good. Also, no refill of drink offered and nojelly offered with toast which arrived after the meal! We are both in our 70's as several of the customers appeared to be. Wewill drive by this Bob Evans on our subsequent visits with family in Charlotte, NC on our way home to Ohio. Read more
Food was very good and came out fairly quick. Think our waitress was new and just learning the job, but she was very... accommodating about our orders. Only had a couple of waitresses on duty so the initial service was a little slow. Overall itwas good but if you are in a hurry I would recommend fast food instead. Read more
I had a sirloin steak and it was surprisingly good. They bring you so much food! You will not be hungry if you come here, and... the prices are very low. The only negative was that they were short staffed and it took awhile to get us steak knives becausethey had no clean ones and she said she was going to "rinse some off" for us. That kind of grossed me out, I just imagined hertaking a dirty knife and running it under the water for a sec. I'm sure she probably washed it properly... I hope. Read more
It took a few minutes before the hostess seated us and she smiled but never said one word to us which I thought was odd. But the... waitress was friendly and brought everything we asked for. The appearances could use a bit of fluffing up, be a bit neater. ThisBob Evans used to be the number one in the country but not anymore. The food was very good but not really hot. The menu hasquite a few selections and I would definitely go back to try other things on it. Went to see family for lunch. Very pleasant staff but our food didn't taste hot or fresh. We had a decent sized party and they... bought everyone's food out at the same time but it was still barely warm. Still, really nice time. Read more
A wonderful eatery. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were promptly seated and waited upon. A great selection of foods,... all reasonably priced. Our meals were delicious. We plan to stop back again soon! Read more
TERRIBLE PLACE DO NOT EAT HERE. ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS!!!! Zero Stars It's really unfair that they only let you put one star this... place deserves zero Stars. Shelly their greeter is absolutely full of attitude doesn't answer questions correctly. Then sheactually tried to give me attitude because I told her answer questions correctly. Then David the manager there is absolutelyrude as well all we wanted to do was go ahead and do a takeout order no one even came to the counter for a solid 4 minutes. Wewere just standing there not one person greeted us and said hold on one moment we're busy anything. The restaurant was not busyI can see why this place is never busy when I go by will be calling corporate will be calling the GM absolutely unacceptableservice food was mediocre. UPDATE: I talked to very nice and helpful man from corporate who sent me a girl card. I once againgave them a 3rd chance how utterly dissatisfied. Shelby again absolutely the rudest take out person I have ever everencountered. We ordered the steak& Shrimp, once she realized it was me she disappeared in the back that's odd. Well she decidedto have the cooks literally short me ounces on my steak, the steak was also not mid well at all, they gave us the worst cut ofsteaks, the shrimp was small and over cooked, I also got little to no gravy on my mashed potatoes, my cookie was squished into atiny container obviously not meant for it. The food was decent but not up to Bob Evans normal standards (Thanksgiving Day meal), the wait staff acted like it was a bother... to serve me... asked for sweet tea and was given unsweetened tea and never had the chance to say something to the waitress aboutit as when she brought my food it was set in front of me and she hurried away. Mentioned to the cashier at the check out and sheacted like it was no big deal even though I couldn't drink it (adding sugar to iced tea doesn't melt properly to sweeten it)...I will NOT be back to this location again!...
