This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced at what used to be a favorite restaurant. The server was rude and openly... inattentive. At one point, after the table next to us was being treated to the friendliest service and utmost care, a glass oftea was virtually dropped by my arm as the server hustled by without saying a word. Next, my partner requested a pot of coffee.The server returned with a single cup and made a huge display of pouring it without offering to bring a second. This continuedthroughout the entire meal. Needless to say, the lack of a tip was to be expected. If you're working in a service industry, atleast be good at what you're supposed to be doing and expecting a gratuity for. I had low expectations the moment I walked in. We were seated at a booth fairly quickly on a Tuesday morning. My seat had a... large tear in it that had been taped over. The window beside our booth had what looked suspiciously like a bullet hole in it (nojoke, other reviews have mentioned it, too). The restaurant could use some cleaning up.
