Steak Escape celebrated 40yrs recently and offered regular size (what I'd consider their medium size) fries for $.82 or a small... Grand Escape (Philly) sub for $3.82. So I couldn't say no to it. I'm a big fan of Steak Escape's Grand Escape. Any time Iimagine where to get a good sandwich and fries, they're definitely one of the first places to come to mind. Recently, I had anonline only discount offer from them and wanted to cash in. I placed my order from their restaurant at Trace Fork in Charleston.I got stuck in traffic due to a car wreck and selfishly worried that my food would be so cold by the time I arrived. Maybe Iwas helped by door dash habits or whatnot, but when I arrived and told their associate I was there for my online order, they gotmy order out, dumped the cold fries from it and gave me some fresh fries. Restaurant is clean enough, food is good enough. A little pricey for what it is, but also good enough for a quick sandwich.
Most disgusting food I have ever had. When asking which sandwich is which the guy who made them said one of them. Fries burnt. I... don?t know how they stay open. Read more
I ordered 2 large sandwiches and a fry. 32.00 no meat on either one of the sandwiches .. needless to say I'm not happy at all.
Firehouse is right down the road. Go there instead. This food is overpriced and simply not good. The fries I ordered were... burnt and half the cup was little end pieces. I will never go back there. Read more
