Blackened mahi mahi in the taco was overcooked with little flavor. Onion rings and buffalo shrimp were good. Place didn't look... overly clean. Roof leaking and water splashing out of the catch pan. They were trying but couldn't keep ahead of the puddle. I probably won't go back. Read more
only one person was working the entirety of front of house which means this place likely does not pay staff well enough. food... was delicious but there was a VERY long wait to get it. (had fried catfish and hush puppies -- see photos.) it's up to you todetermine if the food is worth the wait; it's also possible it was just a bad friday to go in, but we weren't the only customerswho had to deal with long wait times. it wasn't even very crowded. I ordered 2 hotdogs and chips.. I waited 25 minutes, they bring me one hotdog and chips.. I didn't even ask about the 2nd one... because I never had another 20 mins to wait. The one hot dog I received was good. Service not so much! Read more

This place is amazing! Stopped here on a Saturday night on the way home. These were the best tacos I ever had and even though... they were busy and there was one person doing everything, my food still came out faster than the chain restaurants! I wouldhighly recommend for anyone looking for good food, good times, and good service, will definitely be back next time I'm in thearea! If you don?t try the vegan crab cake sandwich, you?re missing out on one of the best meat substitutions in West Virginia. This... sandwich tasted like an authentic Maryland crab cake. The vibe is fun, colorful, and lively. The staff are aware of plant-basedpreferences, and I felt confident that there wouldn?t be any accidental cheese or mayo in our takeout order. Just moved to Charleston so of course I had to come try out a new restaurant. So glad we chose Tricky Fish! The tacos were... amazing. Large portions, great flavor, probably some of the best beans I've had. The staff was super nice and welcomed us. Lovethe patio seating. Visited this location because of the reviews. Our server was pleasant and very personable. I did get the wings which were ok... but really didnt have good flavor. The place could use a good cleaning and the bathrooms also. Just not my cup of tea Read more
