We went here for Lunch, it is now Monahans Clams. I got whole belly clams dinner for $21.99. Which is a good price , there were... plenty of clams ,tasted very good Cole slaw was very good , would have liked a little more slaw and the French Frys areperfect. We thought we were stopping at our favorite place "The hitching post" We have been going there since I was a child. We ordered... and ate. We noticed the fritters were not the same. They were dense and dark. At the time we thought the cook may have been new!When we were leaving we noticed a sign that read Monahan's Clam Shack. We left disappointed and sad. The potatoes were mushy and the red broth had turned burnt orange from age. My husband gota full belly clam roll and it was skimpy.
