Our daughter wedding was this last weekend February 5 and pig ears barbecuing did the catering. We were disappointed in a couple... items that they served. The cheese rolls were dry and hard and the crabcakes were cold and not like any other crabcakes I?veever had. I wish they had allowed two sides to serve theimselves Instead of two people dishing out because it took forever forour last tables to eat and I was getting upset for them. The prime rib mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese were good. Read more

We picked a hotel room across the street so we could eat here more often on vacation. Great place

Mac and cheese is super legit... Cheesy, smokey goodness with delicious homemade pickles on top!! Waffle fries are super good,... not over-fried. The ribs were just meh - very tough and definitely did not fall off the bone. But the glaze on it was supertasty. Bbq sauce was also meh. Reminded me of open pit - very runny and seemingly, vinegar based. Cornbread was some of thebest we've had from a restaurant. So moist and flavorful. We will be back! Read more

One of the best BBQ places you'll find in an area that you would not expect to find good BBQ. I've had brisket all over the... country and the brisket here is above most every place I've tried. My wife had the chicken wings and they were very good. Youget the whole wing. She had them naked and that was a good choice. The sauces here are very good but not really needed since thefood tastes so good that it doesn't need to be covered over with sauce. Very clean eating area and very friendly staff. Read more

These folks have upped their game considerably since I first visited a few years ago at their smaller location by the Charlevoix... Airport. They now have a new location in a new building in town with seating and even a drive-thru. EVERYTHING they make ismagic. But, may I humbly suggest the smothered fries. For $8, you'll get a giant pile of waffle fries smothered in pickledGarlic Aioli, Multiple types of cheeses and all manner of good things. Its more than a meal, it's an experience. Trust me. My chicken was dry, the tables were all dirty with no customers, the girl at the register was rude. The prices are high. 4$ for... a slice of cornbread. The baked beans had vineger in them and the coleslaw was also very strong with vinegar. Probably won't goback. Read more
