Delicious food and great service with an awesome view of the lake channel! The super nice people that work here were able to get... us a nice table for our anniversary with just a few minutes wait when there was a line out the door (they don't doreservations). Everything that we ordered was delicious! We especially liked the seafood chowder, French onion soup, and fishand chips made with whitefish. My wife was a fan of the escargot. Got here at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon in June. There was a table available right away on the deck overlooking the channel, so we... sat there and enjoyed the views. It was interesting to watch the passing boats and see the drawbridge in action. We ordered thewalleye sandwich, steak salad, and a kids pizza meal. The food was all great and prepared properly. Service was fine. Definitelyrecommend this if you're able to dine on the deck. Read more

Finally got around to reviewing this awesome restaurant. I was privileged to visit this restaurant in July. Starting with the... location, it is just such a great place to enjoy your meal. The drinks compliments the food. The food was delicious and thestaff was friendly. The place does get busy, so call ahead to find out reservation requirements. Would definitely visit again. Read more
Stafford was very nice. The husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine and beer and a delicious meal. I had a black bean burger and... the husband a blt with pork belly. Their tomato and basil soup was creamy. The husband doesn't like tomato soup but he likedthis one. Hospitality was great. Our Server was very knowledgeable. The view was beautiful. This feels like a hidden gem. I qm sure it isn't, to those who frequent the area. We dined outside, where we watched the boats... traverse the channel and pass through the drawbridge. Our meal was excellent and the staff were even better. I will stop back ifwhenever I return. Highly recommended. Read more
