I was never a Sicilian pizza fan until I had it in Rome, and Angela’s tastes just like what we had in Rome. Every entree and... appetizer we've tried over the past year have also been great, and the service is top notch. Wish a small salad was includedwith their entrees. I’ve been coming here since they initially opened and I still love popping in for lunch or dinner now and again. My toddler... loves the spaghetti here and that’s the one thing that he can’t ever get enough of! Today was my first day having Angela’s. I ordered the 12 inch Angela’s special pizza, and it came out hot and fresh. The... staff were very friendly and welcoming as I entered the place. The toppings were fresh and the crust was cooked to perfection.Overall I definitely recommend this place if you want some good local pizza in matthews, because this place has you covered. Read more
It had been years since we visited Angela's. I knew there was different ownership since the last time I visited, so I gave it... another try. Wow! My Chicken Franchise was divine. So many restaurants don't take the time to pound the chicken thin or theyapply too heavy of a batter. It was perfect and with just the right amount of lemon. My mother ordered Chicken Alfredo and lovedit as well. It had a depth of flavor that you don't find that often. The side house salad was large enough for two people toshare. Went with our kids this afternoon. Only giving 4 stars because some things weren't that great.. Will start off by saying we... ordered the kids pizza and that was a big hit! I got the Eggplant parm which the Eggplant was delicious and very well made????the pasta and veggies were unfortunately not that great. The noodles were a bit more undercooked than I like. The veggies wereeither not fresh or very overcooked. My husband liked his chicken parm and the mozzarella sticks were very delicious! Overall apretty good meal. Prices were a little high and drinks don't come with your meal. For the 5 of us we paid $12 in drinks. Read more
Spent $70 on this!!?!!! They didn’t give us the salads that come with the entrees and charged us $6 for a salad!!!! Didn’t... get chicken on my penne Alfredo that has no seasoning! And they gave us one loaf of bread with four entrees! My husband wentback in and all they did was tell him it’s because of Covid and offered him free soda and gave him more bread that was twodifferent kinds and not their usual and no butter. Angela's Pizza is open for lunch and dinner. We met a friend there, for lunch. We had lunch inside. We each ordered different... things. They brought us brioche rolls while we were waiting for our food. They were very good. Our lunches were very good. Theywere more than we could eat. The menu had good variety to choose from.
