Sorry I can never just write two sentences. That's probably why it took me so long to do this review. So a friend invited me... about a month ago for brunch and mimosas. She suprised me a told me it was her birthday and she wanted to spend it in goodcompany. Needless to say I really felt honored. We went there on a Sunday and it was packed and a wait. So because, I researchedthe place I saved or "reserved" us a spot early when it firsted opened by calling and speaking to someome. It was for 11am Ibelieve. I get there ahead of my friend and I check in. There is a huge wait line. Ok after 15 minutes my friend comes and I amstill waiting. So we stand there and catch up for about another 15 minutes. She then tells me it's her birthday so I said letme go and check on our table. So I went to the hostess and explain to her that I called ahead and I am still waiting for 30minutes and we are Celebrating a birthday. The hostess was nice and explained I can sit you but, the kitchen is a little backedup. I told her that was fine we are starting with drinks anyway. We get seated in a decent area. I like the vibe of the place.Our waitress Miss Lydia was everything!!! She was social, welcoming, attentive and knew the menu well enough to give us somesuggestions. My friend had a mimosa and i had a spiked coffee. She enjoyed hers but, my coffee fell a little flat but, that'sjust my taste buds. I like my drinks strong so i taste what it is i am drinking whether it be coffee or alcohol. So I orderedthe lemon ricotta bluberry pancakes with house made sausages and eggs. She had carrot cake pancakes with sausage, home fries andeggs benedict. Food was awesome! I told Miss Lydia I need something stronger seeing how we are celebrating. We came for lunch and the place was almost empty. It is a good and quiet local spot. Our server and host were very polite and... the food was good. Pumpkin waffles were very good. Prices are on the higher end for the type of food. Read more

It was a good dining experience. There aren't many options for vegetarians but I made it work. Our waiter was exceptional. I... would recommend for meat eaters, vegetarians not so much. I should mention, I'm a vegetarian that doesn't eat eggs. Read more

The hubs and I visited on a Friday morning around noon. I ordered the classic French toast which came with eggs and a protein.... The hubs ordered the broken biscuit and the Bourbon Street pancakes with a side of grits. The French Toast was cooked toperfection and the pancakes were great and not overly sweet. The broken biscuit was hot and the chicken tender and gravy wereseasoned great. Our waitress was also amazing and prompt. The only problem were the grits? they were watery and bland. My Husband brought me here for Mother's Day !!! It was great, even though it was crowded because of the holiday, the manager... was controlling Everything the best he could. He was checking in people, getting Togo orders together, and sitting people,while being patient with unruly and impatient people. He was Definitely Great!!! The server was great, drinks were soooogood!!!! Totally a great experience. I had the lobster & Brie omelet and cinnamon French toast with fresh fruit. It was one of the most... delightful moments I have had in a while. The omelet was not overcooked and the lobster was fresh, the garnished green onionreally tied the flavors together. I was in pure heaven when I tasted the frech toast, no additional syrup is needed as they havea cream cheese topping that will keep you wanting more. I also had beignet for the first time... this powdery scrumptious bitecaught me by surprise as I always imagined it was a custard filled pastry. Definitely a place to repeat.
