Walked 30 mins to get there. It was worthy 100 times. The personnel was super nice and the food arrived super quickly. The place... itself it's very characteristic and beautiful. I ordered the blacow burger (wagyu beef and tempura avocado) and it was really,REALLY something else. Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. Prices average for Charlotte (the blacow is a lil bitmore expensive) but considering what I ate I feel like it was totally underpaid. Also different discounts on beverages based ondays from Sunday to Wednesday, I had a bottle beer at half price. 10/10 place, would definitely come back. Greetings from Italy! Read more
Love the fusion food at Blacow! Great sushi freshly made with high quality ingredients. I love the spicy girl, rainbow and lion... king sushi rolls. The Blacow burger is rich and savory leaving me fulfilled even in the smaller slider form. The bento box is myfavorite order since I get the best combo of Blacow burger, sushi rolls, fries, edemane and cucumber salad. Very satisfying! Ihave had doordash orders from Blacow numerous times, but I really enjoyed dining in here for a longer lunch. Wait Staff seemed alittle light and rushed, but that's common nowadays. We had a new waitress who did mix up one of our table's sushi orders butthey were quick to correct it. Overall great experience and this is one of my favorite places to get delicious sushi and afantastic Burger! Highly recommend to all! Read more
We tried Blacow when we found out that they had a short wait and were close in proximity- totally chose it by happenstance. The... service was good, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and chatty! The quality of meat on the burgers weredelicious, my only complaint is that I could barely bit it because it was so massive! Our table left full and with nocomplaints, prices were average for it being a trendier little spot in South End (about $16ish per person for burger, side anddrink, $1-$2 more if you get a premium side). I just finished eating this incredibly delicious ?The Hangover? burger! One of the best burgers I have had in a while. Macaroni... was decent. This was my first time here, visiting with some colleagues, I will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, liked theclean decor. Service was great, would have like some better beer choices. Had such a great meal at Blacow! It had a great vibe, A lot of options on the menu and a great beverage, beer and wine list. I... love sushi, especially sushi rolls and they had so many options. We had four different ones including Spicy girl- ???? tuna,salmon, yellowtail and avocado with spicy eel sauce. The sweetheart- ??spicy tuna, avocado crunch and Tobago wrapped with freshtuna. The Umi roll- ????lobster tempura and cucumber wrapped in lobster salad and tuna with eel sauce and chili mayo. TheCasanova roll- ???? lobster tempura, spicy crab and mango with seared white tuna with jalapeño and sweet miso sauce. We had theultimate poutine too which had shredded pork and an egg on it. I wanted to try their signature burger but went with the CarolinaBBQ that had bacon and onion rings and barbecue sauce on it. It was absolutely delicious. They also had sake bombs which Ihaven?t done in forever. That was fun. A special shout out to Alejandro. He was an amazing server, very attentive and had agreat personality. Wow!!! I was completely blown away by the food at Blacow! The burgers, the sushi and the best poutine I've ever had hands down.... Even the creme brulee cheesecake was outstanding! The staff was friendly and attentive. We were seated by the window and theplace just has a great vibe. I will be returning ASAP with my wife for a date night so we can enjoy the drink menu ????????
