We make the 40-minute drive to Café Monte at least once a month (sometimes twice!) to enjoy a wonderful weekend brunch. On... every trip, we enjoy the Brie en Croute to start. The apple compote and spiced walnuts bring it over the top. For our recentmeals, I ordered the Parisian Omelette with goat cheese and the yogurt parfait. The omelette was perfectly cooked, and theparfait was a refreshing side and the perfect size. My husband ordered the Baby Spinach salad with salmon. Delicious, and thesalmon was cooked as ordered. We have had several of their salads and they are all amazing! Javier, our server, was mostattentive. Our glasses were never empty, and he doted on us throughout our meal. Love Cafe Monte in Charlotte NC. Super friendly and fast service and everything I’ve ordered has been delicious and fresh.... Today was quiche Florentine. Was so light and had incredible flavor. I had fries with it and they were thin and crispy! TheFrench onion soup was so delicious too. The cheese wasn’t chewy and the broth was so tasty. Love their coffees too! Read more

Went to Cafe Monte with my wife and her parent for lunch. It was very good. The atmosphere is very charming and quaint. We order... the tuna melt, chicken salad, an eclair and beignets. Everything tasted great. The fries were nice and crispy (which we love).The custard in the eclaire was not overly sweet but tasted very fresh. Our only complaint would have been was the chocolate onthe eclair was a little to bitter and thick but overall had a good experience and meal. Read more

I have been here on several occasions and each time the food and service is outstanding. The last time we came was a busy... Saturday brunch. We did not have a reservation but were accommodated within 15 minutes. This is definitely one of our favoriterestaurants in Charlotte for brunch and dinner. Read more

Went for breakfast today. Loved the decor and kind servers. I wanted to get the duck and waffles but they were out of duck, got... the steak and eggs instead. My boyfriend got the French breakfast omelette. We got cappuccino and a cafe au lait. Everything wasdelicious! Read more

Lovely! The food was tasty, the place is charming and the server was very polite and helpful! I enjoyed the steak and eggs meal... - substituted the potato for fries which were great! The cappuccino is yummy and large! They add a hint of cinnamon to it. Thecroissant was fluffy and yummy - great with the side of jam! But it wasn’t a buttery croissant like some are used to. Cute ambiance and terrific service, but don’t waste your money. Beignets were nothing more than a fried piece of dough served... with strawberry jam. Yuck. The croissants tasted like they came from a wholesale club. Not light and flaky. (I’ve hadcroissants from France) The crepe was decent. Nothing special. Fries were served cold and the chicken club sandwich lackedflavor and substance. Was more bread than anything and the chicken was so dry!!!!! Read more
