This place is cool! Super laid back and the live music is awesome to watch as well as there is 3 floors then the rooftop which... is sweet. CBG was one of the only spots to do anything late night! The food was really good, I had one of each sliders the drink selection... was large it had 3 levels and each one had activities and a different feel. Service was decent and could have been better. Charlotte Beer Garden is in a greet location. It theoretical has a good number of beers and ciders on tap. However when we were... there SEVERAL of our selections were out of stock. Unfortunately we didn’t learn this until 10/15 minutes after we ordered andhad to choose alternatives. From what we learned there are different taps on the three levels of the establishment. This wouldexplain why our beers / ciders were not cold when delivered to our outside table on the first floor. One suggestion: have adynamic menu that 86’d beers and ciders that are unavailable. The atmosphere here was very nice. We chose to sit on the patio, which was nice. I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy Slider which was $6... each so I ordered 2 and they came with no side and only 2 shrimp per slider. I would recommend at least 1more shrimp to theslider and a side option. Because that slider would make someone mad. I ordered and extra serving of fries @ $6 not knowingfries came with the appetizer. My husband ordered the fried shrimp appetizer @ $12 and double cheeseburger which came with fries@ $13. We also had drinks he had the Hibiscus Margarita and i had the Mango Sangria. Found this place walking around South End looking for brunch. It was an unexpected treat with a large open patio for enjoying a... beautiful, sunny Fall day, and fast, friendly service. The brunch menu is not too extensive, but we enjoyed our order of abreakfast pizza ($11) and banh mi pork belly sliders at (@$5). Read more
