I came here with a few colleagues. The barbecue ribs were okay, a little sweeter than I like. The mac and cheese were excellent.... The collard greens were disappointing. It was freshly made but seemed to lack flavor. This is a Pepsi establishment versusCoke. I net out to four stars because it's a good fast casual place. Not somewhere. Just moved to Charlotte and this was the first BBQ place we?ve hit. Great food, brisket was awesome. Had the corn pudding, Mac n... cheese, and hush puppies. All were very tasty and great portions. Sat outside with our dog who had the pulled chicken; herecommends it too! Read more
I was on a visit up to the Carolinas this past week and my cousin took me to his favorite bbq spot. I love great bbq and this... place had some home runs and a couple of singles with several strikeouts. The dishes that were 5 out of 5 for me were theSmoked Turkey, Mac n Cheese, and Peach Cobbler....these 3 dishes alone are the reason I would most certainly return to eathere! The fried okra was a 3 out of 5 for me! Definitely worth ordering a double if you love okra! The Brisket was not the bestbut it was tasty. Green beans, Pulled Pork, Sausage, Baked Beans, Collard Greens, and Ribs....all of these left me wanting moreflavor but these dishes didn't have me singing which I normally do when tasting something great. First time here and was introduced with wonderful hospitality. Assistant manager Steven recommended on of his favorite meals.... The brisket sandwich with bourbon barbecue.
