We don't eat Indian food very often. Our waiter, Danish, was very nice and offered suggestions. Everything was ready fairly... quickly and it was all delicious. We ordered samosas, chicken tikka masala, and paneer spinach saag. Read more

A good option for people looking to try Indian flavors but afraid of Indian spice levels.. all the items were flavorful but at... the same time mild spicy. Only thing I would expect from restaurant is to add a Biryani item in the menu. Cocktails were good aswell Read more

Great dinner with very friendly service. Will return. A very important recommendation: to be MORE careful with the food... temperature - especially 20 minutes after opening. Our food was almost room temperature. Everything else was very good. Read more

By fair the best Indian food I’ve had. I’ve been looking and looking for a good location in Charlotte and this was it.... Chicken Tiki Masala was wonderful and the other dish had fried goat cheese—which was delicious. Had a Kingfisher Beer which isa personal fav. Wonderful meal and pleasant environment. Read more

Indian restaurants typically just satisfy your taste buds. Very rarely do they get the whole dining experience right. Copper is... impressive in every regard, from delicious modern take in classic Indian cuisine, presented in palatable fashion and served in ahistoric building. Everything we ordered was sumptuous, and especially liked the chicken Mirch Malai. Definitely check them out,I will everytime I am back in Charlotte. Read more

This place was amazing! Everyone LOVED their dish (seafood medley, veggie goat cheese croquettes, lamb, and chicken Masala).... Honestly, nothing bad to say. I've eaten a lot of Indian Food and this modern cuisine was delicious and many options we hadn'ttried before. The service was also great and the staff was very personable. The seafood medley and veggie croquettes were thebig stars, but also try the cauliflower first course. Read more

Updating my review to 5 stars: Service from Heather today at lunch was fantastic! Totally redeemed the Meh service from last... time. She was attentive, personable, and offered suggestions/modifications for us. Super nice waitress - ask for her! Let mepreface this by saying that we came here not for authentic Indian cuisine but for tasty food in a relaxing ambiance. We were notdisappointed! If you're looking for traditional Indian then I suppose you should look elsewhere but it's still delicious food sokeep that in mind! The Good: the ambiance is incredible. Copper is nestled in a beautiful historic home in Dilworth on apicturesque street that, the night we dined in, felt extra Holiday-ish and cozy. The cocktail and food were all incredible aswell as there wasn't anything we disliked. We shared: Tawa roasted scallops and samosas for apps, chicken mirchi-malai for main, and the three excuses for dessert. I particularly loved how the chicken mirchi-mali had whole peppers in the sauce which, wheneaten whole, added the extra spice that I crave from Indian cuisine. If you're not big on spice, don't eat the peppers! TheMeh: staff seemed a bit cold and aloof although our server seemed to warm up towards the end of the meal. Maybe the warmth ofthe ambience was not met by the staff. Also, while the apps were fantastic, I could see how some may think they were too smallfor the price (2 samosas for $7 and 2 scallops for $13). I'm general, portions were small but I think we felt mostly full fromthe large amount of rice and naan. The Bad: nothing noted - I can't wait to come back for that Mirchi-Malai in particular!
