We’ve always felt like family at Flour Shop. The service is incredible. The food is terrific. Friendly staff. We went here for our anniversary and they greeted us with 2 glasses of Brut! The food was generally excellent.... The gnocchi with meatballs were out of this world! The scallop dish was a little bland sadly. The succotash seemed to lack a bitof flavor but the scallops were cooked to perfection. Great experience and quick service. Gnocchi, short rib ravioli and rigatoni were so amazing. One of our favorite restaurants in Charlotte we talk about all of the... time! My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Flour Shop. I had heard nothing but raving reviews on it so for my... boyfriend’s birthday I decided to take him there. The reviews were absolutely correct. We had the gnocchi and meatball entree,crispy duck entree, corn sofrito, herb potatoes and the Carolina gold rice. We honestly couldn’t pick which one we enjoyedmost. It was all delicious. They bring you bread and olive oil to start. It’s not your usual franchise bread and oil. I havenever tasted a bread so light and airy before. They had a nice spice in the olive oil on the plate. We knew after eating thebread alone we were in for an amazing dinner. It was so refreshing going to a restaurant that makes all of their own pasta andbread in house, as well as, growing their own fresh herbs. For anyone looking for a wonderful dinner out you must go to FlourShop. You will be so glad you did. We will be going back again soon. Read more
When you watch the chef cooking the meat dig his hands in and eat the ingredients and then the guy cleaning the silverware... eating bread in the back room and not wash his hands before returning to work.....appetizers and drinks were great but Icouldn't even take a bite of the gnocchi. First visit to the Flour Shop and I was beyond impressed. Both appetizers (burrata with pistachio pesto and mushroom tartine)... were delicious as was our perfectly cooked ribeye. It was a nice atmosphere and service was spot on. Will definitely be back!! Read more
