Hawthorne?s Meridian Place used to be one of my favorite places to eat AUTHENTIC NY PIZZA. Being a native New Yorker I know good... pizza when I see and taste it. I noticed lately that there pizza size has shrunk tremendously!!! It doesn?t taste as good as itused to either!! I have a real problem when I see merchants taking advantage of people by being deceiving. If you are shrinkingyour portion sizes but charging the same and/or more that?s not cool!! The chicken parm hero and meatball parm hero were bith really sad. Little sauce, little cheese, overcooked chicken, ... processed meatballs. Doesn't fill the bread, small portions. Very disappointing. Would not go back. Read more

I'm guessing I just tried it for the first time on the wrong day. My lady's crazy about the pizza and has had it several times... with zero complaints. Today wasn't the case for her veggie pizza either. The dough was hard to get through and it wasn't quitewhat I expected from the "meat eater" pie. Really disappointed! Came on a Friday evening with the family, there was a small group at the bar and 2 outside on the patio... when we arrived. The host was kind and seated us upon arrival, we waited 10 to 15 to be offered drinks. At this point we werethe only group on the patio. 30 minutes after ordering our drinks we decided to leave, no one came to check on us and we werenever brought out our drinks. Ordered delivery from them, got the meatballs and broccoli and man oh man was it delish! The meatballs were heavenly, seasoned... so perfectly. And the broccoli was cooked to perfection, not too crunchy and not too soft. Package arrived hot and sealedtightly. Definitely will be ordering again. Read more

We were greeted instantly and sat down to a very clean booth quickly on a Saturday. My wife ordered Penne Ala Vodka with... blackened chicken and I had the signature bbq chicken ranch pizza. All of the food arrived hot and fast! Delicious pasta withroasted garlic, very flavorful sauce and perfect al dente? pasta. (Garlic bread was on point too.) The blackened chicken wasn?tdry and seasoned perfectly! Had a Cajun flair. My BBQ pizza had a great ranch flavor with their own house ranch and the baconand red onions complemented it well.
