We came to Charlotte to see our nephew and this place was number one on my husbands list to try because they have the vertical... rotisserie gyro. It did not disappoint! I had the pork souvla with chicken lemon avgolemono soup and the blonde ale. My husbandand nephew both had the lamb gyro with sides of fries and a Greek slaw. We moved to Charlotte a couple of weeks ago, but we've already fallen in love with this place! Amazingly delicious, friendly... staff, good portions and nice prices! Also, I have already ordered delivery through delivery services several times and all thefood was fresh and warm, just like in the institution itself! Quality is very good, flavor great. Chicken is the best meat here, the lamb Gyro was still good but already cut off the spit and... in a warming tray. Still very good. My family and I decided to try a new spot so we came here and I can say that we are very glad that we decided to try it out. We... had such a great experience! The environment here is so positive and welcoming. Since it was our first time, the very nice manpreparing our food helped us through the menu and gave us many different options that we could choose from. It was nice becausehe was very patient and helped us with no hesitation. Also the owner (I believe) was helping us too. He even brought the food tothe table and later came back to check on us. I found this place accidentally when trying an ice cream spot near by but wanted to give it a try since my boyfriend has never... had Greek food before and it has been years for me. We came in wanting a snack but everything started looking good, they haveseveral vegetarian options but I was so excited to see they have an impossible gyro too! I had to try it and it was DELICIOUS10/10. Not only that but the gentleman and woman helping us 3/14 around 7pm were SO friendly! We told him it was our first timeand he immediately broke out 3 different serving options and explained to us how it all worked. Excellent customer service andwe will be back! Read more

The most authentic greek food I?ve ever had. The fresh ingredients make it feel like you?re in Greece. If you?ve ever been to... Greece you know what I?m taking about. Everything at Ilios was delicious. The chicken was so soft that the meat slips off thebone. Salads and lamb were very good too. Large portions as well. Will definitely be back!! Read more
