Really great Greek Restaurant. Great food, great service. Good portions. I went for lamb and got the chops. Started with the... Ilios salad, a really good arugula salad. All I can say was you have to try this place. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We had the great leaves and... the saganaki and the fried zucchini and eggplant appetizer and all three were fantastic. We also ordered a lot of side dishesfor our meals and they were all good. I thought it was a Mexican spa, but it’s actually a very good Greek/Italian Restaurant. Had the grilled marinated lamb chops... while the wife had trout. Both were delicious! We both enjoyed the baklava sundae … yum yum! If you go on the weekend,reservations would be recommended. Enjoy! Read more
We were in Charolette area for the holidays and decided to try this Mediterranean restaurant with our family. We really enjoyed... the diversity of the menu and contemporary take on some of the dishes! We did take out (pardon the quality and plating in theimages) and ordered the Angry Shrimp, Atlantic Salmon with white beans, Capellini, Garganelli, Grilled Octopus, and the CountryGreek Salad. All of these dishes were excellent, however, a notable mention is the grilled octopus. The Octopus was tangy andthe meat was tender (without any chewiness) paired with a light vinaigrette and pickled red onions. We loved this dish inparticular. Although the Atlantic Salmon was slightly overcooked for our taste, the overall dish had a nice flavor, the beanswere creamy and perfectly al dente with a nice, flavorful seasoning. The Angry Shrimp were cooked perfectly in a tomato-basedchili sauce with tender, firm jumbo shrimp that had a spicy kick as an aftertaste. The Capellini is a thin spaghetti in alight, slightly acidic sauce (white wine, garlic, and lemon) with seared scallops as well as cubed broccolini and pancetta. Thisdish is nice and light, reminiscent of a refreshing summer pasta, balanced with the more robust pancetta and broccolini. TheGarganelli is a delicious, creamy tomato sauce with grilled chicken. The entire dish is well-done and very flavorful - anexcellent take on a classic Italian meal. The Country Greek Salad was a fresh, traditional Greek salad in a light vinaigrette.It paired perfectly with our dinner. Ultimately, the food was excellent and we will come back again! Read more
The is one of those restaurants that hit the mark every single time! We always start with the Taste of Spreads (Roasted... Eggplant, Roasted Red Pepper, Hummus & Tzatziki + Pita Chips). These four dips are perfectly balanced and you can ask forveggies instead of pita chips. Other notable dishes include the Lamb Burger, Fig + Prosciutto Flatbread (pictured) and GrilledAtlantic Salmon on the Beet Salad. Have not been in a really long time, but was craving a Greek village salad... was fresh but lacked flavor (couldn't taste one... of the best herbs out there-- Greek oregano). Was also disappointed that this was an entree Salad and it was TINY. ???? Myfriend's arugula salad was a little more substantial. She really enjoyed it. Her salmon was cooked perfectly though. We came for date night and it was wonderful! Business casual attire and elevated food. Service was impeccable and welcoming. It... was an overall fantastic experience. I had the sea scallops with mushrooms risotto and my husband had the chicken lemonata. Mydish was great but I honestly loved my husband's chicken more. Plating was attractive.
