I went to this place three different times! I really wanted to give it a try. The first time it was closed even though the... website said it was open. The second time a very rude waitress said the owner had an emergency and they couldn't stay open. Thethird time which was the very next day, the same rude waitress said they weren't serving outside. I had my dog with me andcouldn't bring her inside. This place sucks. They probably won't be open much longer. I found a new great spot called Woody's!It was perfect. Read more

In town from Staten Island, New York visiting family and found the Island Thyme restaurant with friends and family. I must say... that we had a really good experience enjoying some excellently prepared seafood which was served nicely. Before dinner westopped for a while at the bar and was served by Earl who was friendly and accommodating. All in all our stop at Island Thymeswas top notch and we would surely return. Read more

I was so excited for a "different " island experience...sad let down. We ordered several mixed drinks, they ALL taste like fruit... juice. The plates took forever to come out, food was barely seasoned. It's definitely a nice ambiance but just lacking. Also Ithink the menu is very small for the name" island" anything. Sorry guys level up for these prices. Read more

Today was my first time here and I absolutely loved everything! From the sweet staff and the fun vibes to the delicious food,... everything was top notch. I loved how the owner came over to chat like we were old friends. He explained in heavy detail thevarious items on the menu and since we were first timers he offered us all his best recommendations. My main meal was amazingbut the star of the show for me was the key lime pie and the bread pudding. I?m telling you- I was composing angelic melodies inmy mind with each bite. I can?t recommend them more highly and I can?t wait to be back! Read more

As you walk up, the colorful umbrellas, Adirondack chairs & Calypso music give off that Caribbean vibe & invite you to relax.... It was such a gorgeous afternoon, we just had to sit on the patio. We had the nicest waiter who offered a few options & wasknowledgeable about the menu. We started with Blue Marlin Martinis & Citrus Streamed Shrimp (shown). If you would like a tasteof the islands right here in the Queen City, this is it! Read more

I've come across the listing for this restaurant a few times, but it was always on a day they were closed. I finally was able... to stop by on Tuesday, 10-26-21. I ordered the cracked conch platter with yuca fries & mango salsa as sides and a slice of keylime pie. The salsa was great; it had just the right amount of pepper & onion added in with the sweet mango. The conch was veryfilling. I enjoyed the sauces, the red one a little more. It seemed to have a ketchup base which was different. Wish I knew theflavor of the white sauce. I enjoyed the key lime pie. It was the right balance of sweet & tart. Bonus points for using agraham cracker crust. Would definitely return to try something else on the menu. Read more
