My wife, grandson and I tried Maharani restaurant just last night. Seems most Indian restaurants have gone strictly, take-out... mode. Happy to find this dine in restaurant. Friendly greeting as we entered. Restaurant was fairly busy, but we were seatedright away. Server was very accommodating and helpful. I love Indian food, but not so much the spice. I got my food exactly theway I liked it and lost none of the flavor. Food was great, service was great. Environment and atmosphere didn't shout, Indianrestaurant, but it is well appointed and clean. I'd call it up-scale spartan. Price is maybe a bit on high side, but with risingcosts on everything I'd say it's not too out of line. We will go again, for sure. Passage to India used to be our go to Indianrestaurant, but no dine in any longer. Maharani is closer, comparable price, great food. I'm thinking my new go-to Indianrestaurant. Highly recommend, when in the mood for Indian food. Wife is from India and she enjoyed the food as well. Read more

Food is never consistent in taste or in the amount you receive. The food is either very bland or incredibly spicy, they ask what... spice level you want but it seems like they do what they want. The sweet tea is terrible, the butter chicken is bland and thechicken in it is dry. The rice that comes with it has absolutely no taste to it. The tandoori shrimp came out half burnt andrubbery. The garlic Naan is great, hence the two stars. For the price of the meals, they need to do better. Read more

We went on a weekday and it was not busy at all. We started with tomato Sorbet (soup). It was okay noting special about it. Had... a vegetable curry, Veg biriyani and Roti. Curry was called paneer Kadhai, also not special. I felt the quantity was alsoslightly less for the price you paid, it came with plain rice. I will not recommend Veg. Biriyani, tasted more like veg. pulao.I think seasoning was not done right. Raita that came with Biriyani was super watery and seemed a little stale. Overallexperience was 3/5. Read more

Absolutely would NOT recommend. Just visited this location after seeing good reviews and was thoroughly disappointed. Do not... order the mixed tandoori entree if interested, just order the appetizer plate. We ordered both and the entree was the exact sameamount of food as the app, and when we mentioned the entree included fish and shrimp, the waiter pointed at the SINGLE PIECE OFSHRIMP on the plate and said it's right their ma'am. When we asked if that's correct there's only one piece of shrimp and nofish the waiter responded with "That's how it comes ma'am" and walked away. This place is truly a waste of money if looking foran Indian restaurant, they are only after money and do not serve well. Read more

I had the lamb mango with meat samosa and garlic naan. The food was delicious, however, I told them I wanted it spicy but didn't... get that. They gave me the spice on the side. Read more

I've been here a few times. The food is great. The prices might be a little higher than I would pay if I were to get a regular... meal but the lunch prices are reasonable. The food is very good. Read more
