I?ve been to this mellow mushroom about five times since moving to Charlotte. By far this is one of the most disappointing,... locations I?ve ever visited. You spent $30 for a large pizza plus tip and you asked for ranch and they bring you this little cupfor one person or they want to change you for additional ones. With a high concentration of pizza restaurants in this particulararea, I will be trying all the other locations before returning. Think I?ll save mellow mushroom for my Florida house sincethey?re not as Stingy with ranch. One last thing, what is the service fee with ordering online? I don?t usually write reviews like this but it wasn?t a great experience for me, I ordered over the phone requesting no cheese,... due to a severe allergy. At pick up the girl at the register dropped my order so half of it was smashed and she still gave it tome. I didn?t say anything at the time about the dropped pizza because I just got off a ten hour shift & wanted to get home. ButI arrived home & it was dairy cheese. I called to see if it could be remade & delivered, they don?t have delivery which was fine& understandable! I opted for just a refund. But the manager I spoke with on the phone was a bit short & wasn?t apologetic? Theykept speaking over me. Food was beyond delicious! The place is must visit. Unique decor and good vibes!
This was the second time we came here for a team outing and it was just as good as the first time. The décor in this place is... one main reason why you should come check this place out! The hippy/funky fixtures give an awesome esthetical vibe, and theservice is very friendly. The two times we've been here, we had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious! I'm avegetarian so I was a bit nervous I wouldn't be able to find something I could eat but there was lots of options! They havehappy hours which gives you great prices on delicious drinks. I got a red sangria for only $4! Had me feeling a little gigglywhich was a deal for me only being $4 ha-ha. It?s a great place to take your kids and have a magical experience with awesomefood. I saw lots of families in there and all the kids seemed to be having a good time, so I'd say this is a perfect spot if youhave a family! Fun for you and the kids which is a win win! Every couple of years a friend invites me to one of their locations. The place itself is super cool inside. The hostess was... great. Sadly, that was the peak of our visit. Service wasn't great. this new generation of service people seem to think thattheir job is talking with the other service people by the kitchen instead of a customer, who might actually need something.Perhaps they should request their tips from their coworkers instead... We waited a long time for our pizza, despite a veryquiet restaurant. My friend goes here much more frequently. We had to ask for salt...pepper...cheese...etc. you get theidea. After we finished the server came and took one pan back, but left the other and both empty plates and silverware. I don'tget it. It is a bit like they're "not all here." I think they got my last $17 for a $6 pizza. ~$4 for chicken and pepperoni ona pizza the size of a very small plate. 9 thin slices of pepperoni and about 3 bites of chicken (we had to cut off and throw thechicken fat away).
