Easily one of the healthiest places to eat in Charlotte. Build your Mediterranean meal, Choose from a wide variety of greens,... meat, plant protein, veggies. It's all delicious. And some of the choices are spicy , but not hot. When I'm in the StrawberryHill area I make it a priority to stop in. The food is delicious and filling. I get at least two meals out of what they serve. Makes it a great value. If you haven't eaten at Mezeh you need to treat yourself by eating there soon. Read more
So we use to go here often and the food had always been Great. It's been a few months, we went today and were really surprised,... the ingredients for the bowls had little to no seasoning, the Hummus & sauces were under seasoned as well. There was only onedrink offered normally there are about 4. Also when we got home we noticed our bread was missing, I called and was told that theoven was down. When my husband witnessed them giving bread to other customers, we were not told prior to ordering. As a Chef weare always looking for great eats and this use to be one of my favorite places. Came here for the first time tonight and the place was very clean and staff was super friendly! The food was extremely flavorful... and fresh even coming in so close to closing time. My only complaint is the brown rice was pretty much raw. It was very hard andgot stuck in my teeth. I guess that?s to be expected coming in so late but other than that I had a great experience and will becoming back! Read more
I went AFTER the lunch rush and was the only customer in the store!! As a germaphobe i was super duper excited about this. AAND... to make it even sweeter the food didn't look picked over and old...it looked fresh like they were getting ready for the dinnercrowd. The service was nice and hospitable! I enjoy this place when I?m craving a healthy fast-casual option. As you can see, I generally load up my bowl because I love the... toppings! I really Like the chicken schwarma and falafel here, as well as the beet dip and spicy feta. They have a lot ofoptions! Their drinks are also very tasty. My only complaint is there have been a few times I?ve gone and have been one of fewin the line but it has still taken 30 minutes to get my food because there are only 2 workers. Luckily tonight it went quickbecause I was Quite hungry and almost didn?t go because of my bad experience last time with the wait. Definitely worth a try &the outdoor eating area is nice too! 9/2/2021 I stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious! I ordered a bowl with basmati rice, kabob chicken, spicy hummus,... yogurt dip, olives, and some tomatoes and olive salad as well as pickled onions. Everything tasted fresh and it was a lot offood! I have ordered ordered from mezze on strawberry hill before and few times and I finally had to write a review on my online order... experience today because this has happens many times. I put my order online 30 minutes before so I can just pick up my food andgo. However, every time I arrive, they never have my order prepared. Today, the recipe was printed and put on the table but myorder was not ready. The server was not busy at all but decided to do it when I arrived. She then scrambled and put my orderedtogether quickly, but when I got home she added a bunch of things that I asked to be take off. None of my sauce were right atall.
