Delicious. You definitely pay for it, but my gracious. So far it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte. Drinks are cool... too, loved the Hello Kitty if you like a sweet martini type drink. Fabulous gluten free menu, I was able to have tempura! (Crosscontamination doesn’t bother me, I’m sure there are options but they said the fryer is shared.) Read more
Best authentic sushi! I don’t do much sushi but visited here for the daughter who loves sushi. What an experience! Short of... visiting Japan. Will visit many times to try different offerings. Rock shrimp salad and miso soup to start - highly recommended.Red dragon sushi roll highly recommended. Our server Tony was great. The sushi options were limited but what we got was yummy. They had a nice full bar and really amazing waitstaff. Sad they didn't... offer edamame. Had such an unbelievable experience at O-Ku in Charlotte NC. I read some of the reviews and was a little nervous but so happy I... still went. We went for the sushi happy hour which is half price rolls from 5PM to 7 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. All of therolls were half price except the three specialty rolls that were over $20 each. That was completely fine. We actually stillordered the hot and heavy roll -even though it was $28 because it was lobster and shrimp and so worth it. The service wasimpeccable. Our server Iris was outrageous, amazing, super fast and accommodating. She gave us a lot of recommendations thatwere killer. They also had a pretty good beer, wine and sake list as well. It took us awhile to get a reservation, but therestaurant was probably a quarter full. If you want to take advantage of the happy hour, I would just walk in. It was a Mondaythough. I’d definitely go back but probably only for the happy hour. The prices were expensive for Charlotte. Read more
Brought my wife here for our 7th wedding anniversary, Iris and Nick made this the absolute most memorable experience we could... have asked for. This is the kind of experience you want to have to look back on through the years. Stellar service, but thefood, oh my the food was even better if that’s possible. We are foodies and travelers and this restaurant competed with some of the best in the world. Our waiter was Georgie and he was... amazing. Recommendations and drinks were top notch. The manager Nick stopped for a few visits and really elevated ourexperience. This has become our top restaurant choice in Charlotte. Read more
This place has good sushi. The staff seemed friendly. I went during ???? Happy Hour ???? 4-7 on Mondays & Wednesdays. Yep... 50%... off rolls! I had the Firecracker and Potato Roll. Also, not in the picture were Appetizers of SouthEnd Shrimp (pretty good) andfried rice (very good). I would not return during normal hours as the menu prices do not reflect the size of the rolls, with theexception of Hot & Heavy roll, its huge! In all... A clean establishment, friendly staff, not so big sushi rolls, and not quitethe best I've ever had. However, I would return for happy hour. Read more
