I have been to this place many times. Earlier the management was different and from past year(may be more than a year) it has... been changed and the owner and cooks are new as per my knowledge , only the name is same and trust me it has the only place inCharlotte where i ve been to who serves FRESH and PURE vegetarian food. I like everything here be it gujarati thali or ravamasala dosa (their chutney, sambar are awesome and not watery like others), onion chilli utapam , and recently had jalebi fafdaon occasion of Dussehra . We discovered this Indian food joint while we were in waitlist for another one. My family was pleasantly surprised with quality... of food they serve. Being vegetarian I feel it’s one of the best places in Charlotte for Indian fast food and main courses.It’s the only place where we saw Kathiawadi Thali, Gujrati Thali and unlimited Dosa options with reasonable prices. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Been there twice in this month. The food is so delicious and their... special menu on everyday is just amazing ????. Ordered Paneer Chilly which needs a bit improvement as it was chewy but Iunderstand it happens once in a while. Restaurant looks so clean and nice. The service is great, I’ve never got this kind ofservice in any Indian restaurant until now. I will definitely go there again. I recommend this place to everyone, better go andcheck them out. Much improved, renovated and renamed under new management. The ambience is more inviting and the food is quite good.
This is perfect place for Indians to have food which taste almost same as back in India.. Food over here is so delicious. It's... vegetarian restaurant. We ordered hara bhara kabab n hot n sour Soup which was super delicious. There is wide variety ofvegetable gravies. We had ordered veg Kolhapuri n Nargis Kofta and taste was amazing. Very good Indian restaurant. Excellent service, very good number of vegetarian items. Kids veggie noodles and monchow soup are... excellent and my kid loved them. Hara bhara kabab is very well done and little more on the spicier side, yet yummy and awesometaste. The Samosa Chaat and Veg Manchurian are tasty and very well done. Alu Tikki Chaat was not as spicy as requested. May begot confused with other items being mild. Frankie is good, but could be better. Made with chapati, could be better with naan.Also it felt like it is smaller than usual. Had Gulab Jamoon and Shrikand Mango for desert and they are truly awesome, tastyand well made. Read more
Tried Kathiyawadi Thaali and Rajasthani Thaali and it was a big disappointment. All the food items in the Thaali were cold.... Specially if you serve khichadi it has to be warm let alone hot. All the sabjis were completely room temperature. Nothing reallystood out in both the thaalis. The price of one Thaali ($16.99)doesn't justify the quality of food you get. If you are speciallymaking a trip to Raj's kitchen for Thaali then be prepared to get disappointed. Read more
