This place was hopping! Full of fun vibes, paranormal and people normal!! My group went on the Carolina history and haunts tour... the night before , and that was a wealth of information and includes this particular pub. I am not giving it away here but tosay go to both!!! We had a young gentleman waiter that was from Belfast and was just a complete delight!!!! The food wasdelicious, the bloody mary delicious! Service was good, the staff really communicated and worked as a well organized team.Pretty sure they liked each other as well, and that is always a plus in my book. Two beers.. four shots.. a mediocre tiny bowl of “poutine”… $72… need I say more. Would not recommend. The environment... was nice, the only reason I gave two stars. If you want to drink, go to Connolly's. They put music on they think you’ll like. Read more
Felt authentic with superb service. Server was quick to approach and provide service. The food came out quick and hot. I got the... fish n chips and did a substitute for the chips and got the green beans which were top notch. The fish was amazing and I savedhalf for later thats how good it was. Tartar sauce was excellent. Fish came with a slightly toasted lemon and the entireexperience was A1( best of the best). Read more
This place is amazing. We were in town for a wedding and stopped by here on two occasions. One occasion was for dinner on a... Friday night. It was not very busy and we were instantly sat down. The staff was very friendly and helpful helped navigate themenu. I am a big craft beer drinker and love trying new beers when I am in new areas. The server helped me pick a few out and Iwas highly impressed. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The second occasion was on a Saturday night. We had a largeafter wedding party come through and we all went upstairs. The bartenders (Rachel and Nick I believe) were both great and veryattentive. DJ SKID was there and AMAZING. Great selection of music and very interactive with the crowd. We were even able toorder food (fries and chicken bites), which is huge. Love the decor. We had to wait a short bit for a table but we sat at the bar, no problem. Our waitress seemed distracted I asked... for butter for my potatoes and she tossed them on the table as she hurried past. Then didn't return for a long while after wefinished eating. I really like this bar. Every time I come to Charlotte, I have to stop by, they have a really good selection of whiskey and... bourbon, including local ones that are delicious! The staff, particularly the bartenders, have always been friendly and superattentive offering me options for local spirits. I really enjoyed this place and will highly recommend it! Now be mindful thatweekends you may have a mixed crowd including college students and people of different ages, so be aware of it, however doesn'timpact the experience or environment! Love the vibes, it's very similar to the pubs in Ireland. The inside takes you on a trip, the food does as well. We absolutely... loved the poutine fries, not the most photogenic but they taste amazing. Drinks and service was great too. Read more
Holy moly, the food was DELICIOUS!! I’m grateful for a waitress that was honest about what her favorite and least favorite... foods were (hate that I forgot her name). The Lamb Burger was divine and the sweet potato fries were perfectly made. My friendsaid her food was equally as delicious. Also had two local beers that tasted delicious! Read more
