I want to rate this as a five-star review however, staff seems to be a little disconnected and evasive. I wouldn't say... neglectful but seemed to leave the tables alone alot more than I would expect at this caliber of restaurant. The food wasabsolutely fantastic! The menu changes but a couple of defaults that never disappoint are the pizza and the soups. It's alittle pricey of a place for pizza but they are good. And the soup is Seinfeld level good. Hands down some of the best I'vehad. I've also done the pesce and the scallops and they were perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. Both are full offlavors and top self quality. Parking can be a beast here. Read more

I have not had every pizza in Charlotte to know for sure but this was by far the best pizza I have had in Charlotte. Pepperoni... and Cheese to absolute perfection. The flavor was out of this world. The pacing of the food was great from apps, to entrees, todessert. Enough time to sit back digest and have a drink if you so choose to. Everything else we had was great including aspecial app they had for just the night. Plan a date night or group dinner and enjoy yourself. Read more

Had a nice time at Stagioni’s! My boyfriend made a reservation through their website, they give you the option of selecting... what kind of seating you’d prefer (between dining room, patio, and high top). They hold your reservation for 15 mins afteryour time if you’re running late. We opted for the dining room and the atmosphere screams “date night”: Dim lighting, intimate atmosphere, small tables etc. The website led us to believe it’s a fancier place, but when we called to see if therewas a dress code of any kind they said it was casual and comfortable. I felt the pricing was appropriate (tab ended around $150after an appetizer, 3 drinks, 2 pastas, and 2 desserts). That being said the entree portions were on the smaller side so thatled to us getting an extra drink and two desserts. The food itself was good, it didn’t blow my mind but I definitely didn’tleave disappointed. This isn’t a place I’d go too often but it’s worth the experience! Read more

The food and service are impeccable worth every penny you spend. We had the onion soup, salad, charcuterie, lobster, short ribs,... and pasta.... A smorgasbord of deliciousness! The service was perfect and the wine selection a bit pricey, but you already canimagine that at a 4Star restaurant. Get ready to have a memorable occasion when you done here. Read more

Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date. I ordered pizza for pickup and it was just ok. Nothing... special about the pizza at all, especially for being $23 for a 14”. With that being said I will be returning to dine in butwill NOT be ordering pizza from here again Read more

We came here for our anniversary dinner, and it was just perfect. We started with the raw oysters and squash blossoms. The... squash blossom dish is unique, and was one of my favorites of the evening. Then we went with two pastas and the swordfish forthe next course. I can’t remember the name, but the truffle pasta with porcini was fantastic. Favorite dish. We ended with thezeppoli, which was a fairly large portion compared to the other dishes. Five dishes plus dessert was the right amount for us.Great meal and service! Read more

I really wanted to love this place as I've heard so many good things about it. But our experience didn't go as well as I wanted... to. We tried three different appetizers and they were all amazing. We had high expectations for the entrees, the tagliolini wasgood but not something you would come back for. The Linguini would've have been good if the noodles weren't undercooked, twice.I told the server about it and he took our plate away and replaced it with a new one. But the new plate has the exact sameissue. My gf didn't even finish it so we just asked for the check and left. Overall the food experience is not the reason whyI'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. They service was very disappointing. From the when we first got there we felt like ourserver didn't care too much to serve us. He did job but just at the bare minimum because he had to. The table next to us gotchecked on 5 times to our every 1. It was like we were being avoided for some reason. I had to ask him to help me with the menuas I didn't understand some of the words, he did but forcefully. I even told him it's our first time here and was hoping that hewould explain things to us further. With a full plate of food he never even asked if we wanted a to go box and didn't evenbother offering us dessert like how he did the table next to us. It was a completely different vibe when he talked to themcompared to how he talked to us. It literally ruined our very rare date night. The people who brought us our food just droppedoff our plates and walked away every single time. I thanked them each time as they were walking away, still not a single wordfrom them. There was no "enjoy your meal", "how was everything so far", nothing of that sort. Even though we wanted dessert andcoffee at the end, we decided to just leave to go somewhere else for it. Needless to say, we definitely won't be coming back nomatter how good the bread and appetizers were. It's just not worth being treated differently than the peo Read more
